OK I looked at one in Grove a while back but it was a 6 cyl. I had one in college back in 67 but it was knida special ,I found out later, it was equipped with the 406 and 3 deuces and 3 speed trans with overdrive. The 406 came out in 62 but, according to the original selling dealer it was a very late 61 and they were big enough to get Ford to drop in the 406 that was coming in a few months. I've been looking for that car ever since.

Nicole, How do you like your Maytag Model 31 wringer washer? Mark.
@ibsoarin7 жыл бұрын
Nicole, Brad is correct. The water level should be up to the knurled line in the agitator post. Your rags will not clean properly and the roll over Gyrafoam action will work at its best. After you have finished washing, please remove the agitator off of the agitator post assembly to allow the agitator and the bottom of the tub to dry. Mark.

Nice machine! But a word of advise - always fill the tub with water to the line on the agitator. Not enough water (with too much laundry) puts unwanted strain on the motor, and also does not wash effectively. When properly filled and loaded with laundry, the items should make a circular motion, tumbling towards the center and back up again. Maytag coined the phrase for this "gyrafoam action".
