I miss this era so badly. It feels like my generation (Zillennials/Millennials) were the last generation where kids were allowed to be kids.

I was born in 90 so when I got to middle school and high school I hung out with gangsters but we were cool with skaters and even some of the Gothic kids we all had a love for weed and video games lol. Fun innocent times with an mp3,pipe and a nickel in my pocket.

Born in '91. Got every single benefit of technology without a single drawback. Out of 120 soldiers on my deployment in 2012, only FOUR had smart phones. As cliche as it sounds, we TRULY did live in the moment back then. There wasnt another option 😂

I was mad young when this phase was peaking, and I always thought the chain hanging out the pants pocket was the coolest. I didn’t know where to get one so I went to home depot hardware and brought a foot of regular galvanized heavy duty chain. Thought it was pretty cool until pops took it and used it to lock the fence gate behind the house. I absolutely love this era, didn’t really get to feel it tho being born in 03.

    39. Most of us didn't get a mobile phone until we were in our early 20s. Hell, I rarely took mine out with me. Gigs. Merch. CDs. Girls. Hang-out culture hipster bars. Scott Pilgrim was a way of life in the 2000s.

My brother was 15 in 2005, I was 7, he was somewhat like this but more into Metal and fighting games, one day all of a sudden he got in the army at 17 and practically never saw him again for the next 10 years, he never was the same, that punk kid went away one day and he never came back.
