Groet Ruud

Nice to see them... Two Canterbury greats working together... Hugh did a lot of looping keyboard and bass near the end, and some is on Robert Wyatt's expanded release of "Solar Flares" which came out in the 90's...

To whom it may concern this is a great solo guitar performance of a classic composition by the late great tenor saxophone giant Joe Henderson and as an official representative of his estate as well as his son I respectfully ask the he be listed first and credited as composer in the video information section that lists the musicians. We his family thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

IF if am reading the description correctly -- VPRO -- a Dutch broadcasting network. www.vprobroadcast.com/. If i am getting this right, they occupy a niche sort of like NPR in the US, the CBC in Canada, and the BBC in England. And, yeah, I too wondered who would happen to have a pipe organ as part of the office decor.

Back in the 70s, The Shepard on the KMKF-FM Manhattan, KS progressive rock + everything else show played the original recording of this as background for the midnight news. It is delightful to see a live cover of this. When I hear the opening bars, I still impulsively check the clock to see if it is midnight and really time to wrap up the studying for tonight and crawl in to bed.
