  I’m Jacob and I just want to let you know Chris, my throttle cable was loose and so were my valve springs so my engine was losing a lot of power on the straights.

  Stay out of kart #22, thing is probably the slowest ine they have, i was running 110 secind laps with my foot on the floor, not touching brakes except for the hairpin. Hell, I got passed by the fucking tadem. Also, that new track is insanely greasy.

  depends on the driver you can overcome the weight difference with race craft and skill. I know people 20-30lb over that can keep up with anyone. any more than that its very difficult.

  I agree. I wouldn't say there is a specific weight that would make you less competitive. I've seen people enter up to 40lbs over and do well. It's all down to the driver

  @@KartingWithChris Over what weight though? 40 lbs. is a bigger percentage over 180lbs. than it is 220lbs. When I used to race, it was always better to go up a weight class and use ballast down low, but now I'm heavier than the heaviest class that races and there's a 60lb spread between me and the lightest guy and it's not even a race.

  The minimum weight for DKC is 190lbs

  It’s one of those high skill cap tracks, gotta learn to steer the kart on this one, not throw it around. Smooth is fast here :)

  "really tall gearing""hitting the rev limiter early" HUH??? That seems backwards. If the gearing was too short then this would happen. BTW a 4:1 rear gear is taller than a 5:1 ratio. Faster top speeds come from taller gears.

  Me and my friend are going together be getting into our first league this July hopefully if all goes well, we like racing at the commercial go karts, but the people are a bunch of idiots there, got rammed full speed by someone while i was stopped bc the race was over, and that was rather disenchanting, hoping this will be more my speed, since I race clean.

  I was the one on pole here in both races, honestly when you waved at me to slow down I thought I was doing something wrong since it was my first time in the front row😅 Kart 11 had a lot of play in the brakes, took me way too long to get adjusted to them obviously, but overall it was a really fun day. Good and clean racing, easy win for you and well deserved💪
