  My father in law has the older version, with black sub dials. I borrowed it for our wedding, thought it would look good with the blue tux and he'd appreciate me wearing it. I'd be lying if I didn't say I regret returning it, despite actually making fun of the "old man" watch years prior. It really grew on me and I wish my brother in law hadn't changed his mind on it as well or it would be mine 💀

  Congratulations on your new purchase! I could be wrong. Your box looks like a medium size. Rolex precious metal watches come with large size boxes. If yours is a medium size, you should go back to your AD to switch it.

  Stunning looking watch! I also wear mine on a black Rubber B strap with the Rolex clasp for daily wear. More subtle look but equally stunning.The most special watch in my collection.

  Nice with blue . I dont understand why many people love Submariner with black while it is about sea or ocean ! Submariner must be blue like the sea waters . It is the reason bluesy model is the right Submariner.

  Really nice GMT! Can't go wrong with two-tone. I was deciding between this and the two-tone GRNR "Guinness" on jubilee I am more of a yellow gold person, so I chose the GRNR and got the call. The GRNR and Batgirl is the perfect one-two punch for me, as is the Rootbeer and Batman for you.

  The market is 100% softening. I have heard from my SA that almost all 2-tone watches don't need "manager approval" to sell anymore. The 3 new Rolex factories will also come online in 2025. I hope people remember how they were treated by the ADs and don't reward the ones that played games.

  I got my two tone Daytona in 3 days so I believe it. I look forward to the day where people can get the watch they want and am curious to see if the grey market will be left sitting on a ton of inventory they’ll have to discount.

  I always really liked the black/brown color combination of the root beer. However, I generally don't like gold jewelry, so was put off by the two-tone band. That said, seeing it in this video the gold made sense to me for the first time.

  This is false. 3861 has a well actuated break feedback that presents itself once you fully wind the watch. Once you max it, you can either give it 15 to 20 turns the next day, or some more the very next. There is no guessing. When you reach the end you will know.

  @@casualdudereviews the moment where you should stop "when there is some resistance". You can wind it fully until you feel the full stop. After that every day for 20 turns can maintain the power level per the direct feedback I received when my Speedy 3861 was sent back from Omega HQ - Bienne CH after chrono stutter fix.

  Love the new one! It is better, for me, in every way than the older one! New clasp, the 05 instead of 5, fully-lumed 3-6-9, crown guards, thinner case, new movement with 70 hour power reserve.

  Very helpful! My wrist is about 7.75” as well so it’s great to see the wrist shots. I tried on the medium a couple weeks ago and liked it, but it wore about like a 37mm round watch on my wrist. I think this 39.5mm Santos will appear more like a 41.5mm or so
