  If you are a beginner, first unwrap a small model. Your basic concept of UV will be clear in that. After that, by doing something a little more complex, you will understand UV and you will be able to do all kinds of UV. Unwrap is very easy. In the beginning, unwrap a shape like a cylinder sphere box. You will see the rest in the video, you will understand it and it will seem easy.

  yes you can do it, it won't be that good but you should learn unwrapping

  There might be a bug in Maya 2024. Whenever I work on animation, I see bugs in it. You should try Maya 2023.

  at 5:05, just cut the left part and mirror the right one. even same for top and bottom, why not use symmetry in modelling.

  Place the reference image on the top, front and side the way I have placed the video, otherwise the value of the reference I have placed will also be visible in the channel box, then you can do it easily

  Thanks you 😊The texture is on low poly, we take the details of high poly on low poly model...The rest of my work is on ArtStation, both high poly and low poly...
