  Early 90s. They are building a hiking trail over it, you can already see the beginnings of it in the video. It will be there for a long time to come.

  @@fredstuckmann I was hoping they would utilize it, it's a Very Kool structure, and would hate to see it bulldozed like all the rest of our area history. I heard they were building onto the rail trail around town, didn't know this part was included. I ride quite a bit and always Dug the trails around here, so much rail is gone now,which I know you are well aware, I remember over by the coaling tower and when the EL ran through there,albeit the waning days of it, being double tracked and even that part that went over to Hazel st. Thank You Mr. Stuckmann. Will continue to watch these videos.

  No date has been set for either unit yet, as for the 1822, I think that we won't see it on the valley anymore. Thank you.

  These tracks are bi directional and signaled bi directionally as well. So if a crew, RR or Maintenance of Way, is working on the other track, trains can run around the obstruction with ease. Thanks for stopping by.

  It's always a treat to see latter day EMD Swisher's and I only have one place to see them in Wisconsin. Then Tomahawk RR on 5 miles of track. Nice coverage of this unit operating at a fairly decent speed

  Another great vid Mr. Stuckmann. I can't help but wonder that when the bus station was built the powers that be never considered a pedestrian bridge at that location. I would hate to see the day someone is killed there, trying to beat the train. And it wouldn't be the railroads fault.

  Odds few that folks would still opt for the shortest route. Before there used to be a bus station there used to be a footbridge there for people to get to the BF Goodrich factory a block away. BFG closed and the only people using the bridge were railfans. The bridge has been gone for decades. Thank you.

  Nice video! Equipment is returning from Combat Support Training Exercise 24-01 (Annual USAR training) which ran from June 1-15, 2024 @ Fort Hunter Liggett, CA. The equipment is heading to Fort Eustis @ Lee Hall, VA then I presume line haul (Roadway) back to their bases.
