    I use the S21 Ultra and for me, the battery life isn't bad. It still holds up very well today and still runs the latest version of Android. The S21 phones are supposed to get one more Android update to Android 15, likely the end of this year which will be its last major update, so it will continue to have the latest Android version untill the end of 2025 when Android 16 is released.

    How come it came without straps on? I have the 47mm sliver version and did not have to install the straps? and a mystery, why yours came dusty?

    I dont know why it came without straps on, probably because I upgraded to a different strap. And why it was dusty is a mystery 🤔

    I'm about to sell my Galaxy watch 6 (or keep it stored in a droor) because the battery life is so garbage. I'm buying a Garmin 965, Way better battery life. Better Tracking, maps, Body Battery feature.

    @@earthsmightiesttech I'm a firefighter, and there are some other recruits who also use Garmin, they usually get 10-13 days of no charging, and that was from the Forerunner 955. I'm ordering the newer version (the 965) which boasts 23 days of battery life.

    The heart rate sensor is not good on the samsung watch, and it’s harder on dark skin.

    Thank you for the voice of reason. I'm just now researching watches for someone. I don't need anything that communicates independently of her phone, but with her phone nearby to do the communicating. All I'm looking for is easy-to-read-and-use, time, date, who is calling, any missed voicemails, texts, or emails, and maybe NFC for pay for customer loyalty scans, and request emergency help when she is at home, and enough battery to last the day. The rest of that stuff doesn't work well enough to base any decisions on anyway.

    I want a rectangular screen with high pixel resolution and easy to use customization software allowing me to personalize the watchface as well as the menu appearance as I please. Didn't find anything on the market to offer that. There's the cheap Chinese copies that offer you high pixel resolution in AMOLED ( See Colmi C81 ) , but extremely poor customization options being bound to the dime-a-dozen apps that work with Mystery Format .bin watchface files you cannot edit in any external software. There's Samsung original Gear S that offered everything I want but it's too old to be found even in second hand markets. There are the Huawei's like the one you're presenting but they have low pixel resolution screens with pixels clearly visible like a 2005 Nokia phone when using a white image/watchface/menu which is appalling considering the cheap Chinese copies manage to offer such quality screens. And then there's the Apple watches which are practically useless without being part of the iOs ecosystem , as well as 0 customization being bound the the app only . Overall, the smartwatch market needs more diversity to satisfy the picky buyers such as myself , although it seems to do just fine with people all over seeming pleased with the offerings . A combination of Apple/Chinese copy high pixel resolution AMOLED screen with Samsung's Watchface editor for Windows would be absolutely fabulous!

    But draining your battery right down is bad for it. To get 1.5 or 2 days, must be nearly at 0% on the battery which is bad for it. I charge mine daily even if its 50%, its better for your battery life span and not killing it. In no way should you be pushing your battery level and getting that amount of time is impossible and will be under 20% which will wreck your battery if you keep doing this. There is no way you can get 2 days. My battery estimate battery is 1 day 18 hours and that's with battery saver. Samsung do say the blood pressure is only a guide and not medically accurate. And only as good as your HR monitor at home, which could also be off. 32gb is what we need. To have 7 gb free out of 16 is ridiculous., Apps have got bigger, and so has the OP system and Samsung have never gone beyond 16gb, we need 32gb and that would get me buying the watch 7

    So watch 6 is crap?

  • @dennisrogers6786
    @dennisrogers67863 ай бұрын

    Far from being crap, but this guy is running his battery down to far if he want a longer battery life. I have a 3 in 1 charger and just charge my Galaxy S23 ultra and watch at the same time each night regards of how much charge I have left. Its much better on your battery and in 24 hours with some use 48% , so yes could get 1.5 days, but at wait percent of battery left? Wouldbe harming my battery going below 20%

    The new Galaxy 7 watch would need 32gb before I would buy it. They really need more memory. The pixel 2 and apple watch have 32gb, why not Samsung?

    I have been using a Gear Sport for nearly everyday since I got it in 2019. The battery has dropped near 0 more times than I care to count. I still get pretty damn good battery life, I charge it every other day. While I know you are correct, it somehow hasn't affected my watch
