1. We have a bus like that in Jamaica the only difference is that we have the back door on the left side, the seats are a different design and the roof inside is blue,no emergency exit door, the engine is a B7R. Ours came from Belgium 2. Why do you guys have the back door on the right side instead of the left? kzread.info/dash/bejne/pYZ1prCgYabJZKg.htmlsi=ImPBNaI2Ihu84kaq

Excellent video. Hate to be that guy but it’s not actually an East Lancs bus. It was built by Scania themselves at their plant in Poland. So it’s actually a Scania integral bus. The ELBG on the seats stands for East London Bus Group, which was the name for the former Stagecoach London operations sold to Australian bank Macquarie in August 2006. Stagecoach bought the operation back in 2010 but these buses were delivered in the period of ELBG.

Not looking bad for it's age, for future reference ELBG = East London Bus Group (Stagecoach)

Wasn’t bodied by East Lancashire as it’s a Polish built body. That one would have been new to Stagecoach London. Can’t remember who the previous owners were that bought them before Stagecoach ventured back into London. But definitely Polish built body 💯% folks. 👍

It's punishment to drive a manual no matter how good they build no way if anyone goes for manual coaches or buses they definitely need some sort of medical assessment

Attention, the best D8C Euro 4-5 Engine because fully Volvo design and engine, but 7.1/2 liter/D7E = Deutz Engine and Volvo/Renault design, you know, simple german engine but if is 7 liter Euro 3 and 8 liter Euro 4-6 = Swedish Engines.

How common was the pneumocyclic gearbox on a coach with a Volvo chassis? Apart from this example I've only every seen the pneumocyclic on a Leyland chassis, with all the other chassis options including Volvo always having a manual gearbox.

I remember during Covid seeing these Operating the 6/6A/X6 Services to Great Yarmouth, it was certainly not something you'd see everyday but it was happening near enough everyday. Now the 6/6A/X6 is ran by 73 Plate MCV Evora B8RLEs. Can easily sit at 56mph
