Kosrae has a special place in my heart. I spent a week there to help with the electrical utility. I will not mention names but have to say from one island to islanders, I was treated the best. I long to return and relive some of the memories. But I hope on my return there are more choices in beer. I am not a budweiser drinker. Tell Robert I said hi

You really help me to visit my old home again. I feel like the path up to Sipyen falls was very different in 2001, I don't think there was a bridge? But I also don't remember walking in the river too much, I can't be sure though. Your drone footage is amazing and so helpful to get the true perspective of the area, it really helps because the foliage is so thick everywhere you can't really tell what's beyond, so the drone is perfect for that. Thank you!

When it comes to landscape and how it used to look in the 2000’s in general I’m not familiar with it. I grew up mostly in Pohnpei. I only remember parts of the road to Waclung and the drone definitely adds a new perspective and appreciation to how big Kosrae actually is.
@seymourwhirled10 күн бұрын
@@Yangsta Yes they completed the road to Walung when I was there between 2000-2002, we walked that new stretch of road one time and it was fun. Yes the drone shows the vastness and beauty of Kosrae, it's very special to see the drone perspective. I was on Pohnpei several times and loved it too, very different, more developed feel to it. I think there was a Club Flamingo we liked to go to haha. The College was also really nice.

@Yangsta17 күн бұрын
Yes, they were most likely overgrown. Kosrae has been doing a good job in maintaining cleanliness and presentability these last couple of years just like I mentioned about the Lelu Ruins. Also yes it's someone's property but as long as you're polite enough to ask permission all should be good.
