Why are you using the "please kill me" Jack? Plus if you slid the tire right underneath the car that will be as good as a jack stand the car would only drop about 3 inches.

I appreciate this video - it is the first one that came up upon my searching. I think it fortunately or unfortunately is a better video because there were some errors in use that could be pointed out by other viewers. I'm glad you are safe and I am glad you shared this video - I think it will help at my home. The only thing I still question is how much of a slope could be safe - probably nearly none - but I can ask when renting since I don't find that info so far online. Thank-you!😊

Wondering if it is a problem if you have to set this up on a slight hill in gravel driveway? I'm not actually going to operate it - hiring a guy who will use it, but I like to be prepared / know how it's going to work before hand. Don't know if people still read these?

A Real Man: As you can see, this endangered species is in his natural habitat. His life is threatened by a new age of lazy, entitled, snobby generations with their highly developed technological devices. You could learn so much from this type of creature. If you take the time to engange with one of them most of the time they have life lessons and and if you are lucky and can find a beer for him he might have some unforgettable stories and jokes that you will ever witness.

Question: do you NEED a wiring harness or any wiring for the boom lift to the truck? From what I'm seeing and reading, the brakes are only engaged like mentioned in the video. The reason I ask is, because apparently home depot doesn't lend these out to people around me. You have to actually go through compact power and THEY deliver the boom to your house. So needing to tow it around is actually not needed. On public roads, that is. You still physically have to tow it to the spots on your yard anyways. And if I'm on my private property, I really don't need the wiring or lights. I just don't know if the brakes are affected/needed to be turned off. Turns out, all 3 of my vehicles have NO trailer hitches. Ok not so bad....I'll go rent one......oh....ok...home depot won't let you use their trucks for this. They lock their hitches and its not for personal use....wtf. Ok off to menards....... Oh, not a single truck they have, have trailer hitches. what in the actual sweet buttery batman. A $200 trailer hitch bolts onto my jeeps back bumper, so I thought I was good to go, until today I just realized, there's no wiring for the trailer for the jeep. This job is turning into a nightmare.

Did a good job w/the video & explaining it with an exception on 2. Would have been good to see WHERE you disconnected from the other side to gain more cable & 1 or 2 of the shots could have been a little closer in to see better. Otherwise a very good quick explanation on showing how to do it. I have done my own for yrs & recently gotten this truck & did not recognize the attachment points. Have a great day.
