    Loving U is a top 5 MJ song for me 😂 but I love MJ on heavy drums. To be fair on Slave to the Rhythm, the original imo was worse so i think they did the best they or anyone couldve did with it lol. Didnt like DYKWYCA remake n made my own

    23:17 michael really did want to be a actor and he tried to play edward scissorhands in 1990, he wanted to buy marvel and play spiderman in the late 90’s, he also wanted to play willy wonka in the 2000’s but the allegations went on and that obviously got cancelled. he made a cameo in men in black 2 though

    I love this album. I don't agree with you on the negatives. However, I love the originals too. But from your critiques, you realy should listen and react to ALL of the originals. This was a 2 disc album. 1st disc is all the remixed songs and 2nd disc is all the originals. And there are different producers, with the exception of Darkchild. Slave to the Rhythm, for example was written and produced by LA & Babyface. From what you said you think the tracks should be, the original tracks are that exactly. And as for A Place With No Name, your original instinct was correct, the producer of the remixed version basically stole/copied the instrumentation from Michael's Leave Me Alone. Xscape was one of the last songs Michael was actively working on. The original MJ started with Rodney Jerkins during the Invincible sessions, but revisited it and continued to work on it closer to his passing. Darkchild continued to put the finishishing touches aftwr Michael's passing, always focussing on everything Michael told him, and imagingiing what Michaek would say and would like and what MJ pished him to do. As for Blue Gansta I LOVE both versions, and for me an idela version woukd be a mix of the 2. I love the remixed version but theres some muaically sparse moments in the original that are fire and the biggest thing about the original which is fantastic and I miss from the remix is there are much more horna and they sound incredible.

    this was Eddie and MJ trying to emulate Prince's direction at the time. Look at the artwork and the songs on Prince's Paisley Park record of the time. That is the album Rasberry beret appeared on. I feel like this video was kind of cheap and a better concept might have helped. This came off like they were just putting random special effects, IMO.

    The price for worthly fame is high.....you are just an modern clown do your trick over and over again....people blinded by the illusion of succes what is relativ. I never want to be in his shoes with all respect. I love mj People are programmed robot slaves of the system thinking happyness starts with extern factors like status, money, material things that means nothing and its relativ and an illusion create by society. If your happyness depend on extern factors you will never be happy because extern factors are endless. Happyness starts inside you. Thats why people work and then buy stuff or look a certain way to create an illusion out of emptyness. The more people around you, the more expectations, talk about others, lying, frustrations, negativity, jealousy, double standards, own benefits, hate, judge, comparing etc..... reflection of their broken souls. Alone or in solitude you have more strength, peace, power, happyness, freedom and time to reflect and work on yourself in the here and now where the magic happens. Be the light in your own life. No, not feeling superior or better then others but more be carefully and awake.

    the whole album was remixed disregarding the demos of the original songs. I get that the demos were unfinished and raw and MJ isn't here to finish them, but what Sony & the MJ estate released wasn't good. The only redeeming song to me is Much Too Soon, but the original song was already finished. Why not just use that version? Sigh

    The original song from Best of joy is I am your Toy(released on Thriller 40), but MJ changed it afterwards to Besto of joy. And the original Behind the mask also was released on Thriller 40). The other thing that is not good from this album is that were not produced by MJ, and that might be one of the reasons why the songs do not feel like MJ’s songs. Same with Xcape, the original songs are far better than the ones not produced by MJ…

    @@GalaxyNexus1the only fake tracks are Monster, Keep Your Head Up, and Breaking News

  • @GalaxyNexus1
    @GalaxyNexus114 күн бұрын

    My feelings about this album are exactly the same as yours. This is the only "Michael Jackson" album that I do not own and refuse to buy because of the fake tracks and the disgusting greed of the label and those involved trying to push this nonsense on us. The downside (or upside) to you waiting 14 years to listen to it is the album you listened to is actually missing 3 more fake tracks that it originally released with. Michael's family (including his children) and fans outcried after the release calling out the fake tracks and a lawsuit was even filed. The fake songs were provided by the Cascios, a NJ family Michael befriended, who claimed, after his death, they (the Cascios) wrote the songs and Michael recorded them in secret in their basement. Professional voice analyzers and even Quincy Jones and Teddy Riley weighed in saying the vocals were definitely not Michael. SONY eventually removed 3 of the tracks in question, without admitting guilt. I actually did like 1 of the fake tracks, Keep Your Head Up, but knew it wasn't real. The Akon song was a colab between the 2 before he passed. I don't think the vocals on Hollywood Tonight are authentic either. The Way That You Love Me (real title), was actually written by Michael in the late 90s for then popular Boy Band Hanson. Michael ended up loving the song so much, he decided to keep it for himself. He considered releasing it on Invincible. He continued to hold onto it, but released the demo as a bonus track on his Ultimate Collection Box Set in 2004, which, by the way, if you don't own it, and don't own a cd player, you need to immediately purchase both. The box set is a must have for true MJ fans! Best of Joy was actually written by Michael for the classic 80s Richard Pryor movie, The Toy, and was originally titled The Toy, with the lyrics being: "I am your toy, I am your boy..." Quincy Jones asked Michael to prioritize the recording of Thriller and on that advice he abandoned the project and focused solely on recording Thriller. He later revisited it and changed the title and a few lyrics to create Best of Joy and considered it for Dangerous. Later in 2008, just a year before his passing, he revisited it again and recorded some new vocals. For this album more production was done after he passed and we got this final version. I Can't Wait To Live Another Day is a colab Mike did with Lenny Kravitz before his passing. No, Slash is not on the tracks and no that's not Jermaine singing. It's Lenny Kravitz playing and singing background vocals. Behind the Mask I love. It was an instrumental 80s hit by the Japanese electronic group, Yellow Magic Orchestra. Mike loved the song so much he asked their permission to remake it, and in the early 80s he wrote lyrics and reimagined the song. While he decided not to use it on an album at the time, he gave the song to both Greg Philinganes and Eric Clapton who both did covers of Michael's version on their albums. This version was remixed by longtime Jackson associate/friend/Executor of his Estate John McClain. Michael's original demo was released on the Thriller 40 album. Much Too Soon was written and recorded by Michael during the Thriller sessions, and after not making the album, Michael completed the song for HIStory. It was left off that album too but included on some promotional copies of HIStory as a bonus track. For this version, after his passing, a different mix was used and additional production was done by John McClain.

    Idk man if The Ultimate Collection Box Set is a must have.. have you never heard of the conflict between MJ and Sony where they forced him to release some old and new songs for this collection only in order to earn money from him? This happened after Sony stopped doing promotion for Invincible

  • @GalaxyNexus1
    @GalaxyNexus113 күн бұрын

    @@mjlivetv8065 It's a must have as it is the definitive Michael Jackson collection tracking his entire solo career from childhood until that point. And it's fantastic, including tracks that newer fans are just discovering for the 1st time 2 decades later. SONY did not force him to do anything regarding that set. Michael had a contract with SONY and releasing that Box set further fulfilled his album contract.

  • @mjlivetv8065

    @@GalaxyNexus1 yeah he had a contract but was pissed to do that and if you ask me it's not even a good best of. Just some random tracks including demos or unreleased tracks.
