Awesome solo! I play guitar, so i don't know all the in's and out's of drumming. Only what sounds good to my ears. Peter's drumming and solos always sounded cool to me.

It's ashame Peter's drum solo was edited on the Alive II album. At least now we can all hear the full version here. Thank you for this.

You know, I've seen Kansas more than a dozen times. I had tickets for their recent show in Concord NH that I didn't go to. I got them for me and my wife for christmas. I came home one day a little while ago, and she turned to me and said, I don't want to be married anymore. And, I had tickets for the 25th anniversary tour, and I went, by myself, because my girl broke up with me. And I remember how horrible I felt standing there by myself listening to the music of my life while my heart was torn from my chest. So I couldn't go to this concert, in Concord NH because I didn't want to relive that terrible feeling, and I missed the band that played the songs of my life.

i saw kiss live in something like 1976or 1977. in the drum solo criss's entire drum platform rose up and was extended by a mechanical out over the audience as he played.

When I see a drummer playing a kit this big, I wanna hear THE DRUMS! He played all of his drums melodically! Doesn’t have to be a technically dazing solo for me to enjoy it!👍🥁😊

Steve Walsh - what an amazing talent. It's common for guys with his career and at his age to have some damage to their vocal chords. But this guy in his prime was a real gem both as Hammond B3 player and a vocalist. Listen to his B3 solos. They are A+
