CinemaWins

Because liking things is more fun than not liking things.

Sometimes the critics are wrong. Some movies, while full of plot holes, continuity errors, and bad acting have plenty of wins! Every week I’ll do a movie you love, that maybe the world hates. Did you go into a movie with your mind made up? Maybe there's more greatness in it than you thought! And some movies are just so good they deserve the winning treatment.

The internet is full of so much hate and negativity, ultimately I hope my videos will brighten your day!

I use a similar format as CinemaSins specifically to be their opposite. This is just my spin on films that I think don't get the respect they deserve or are so good they need to be celebrated. Or more often, stupid crap that made me laugh and want to watch it again.

This movie is just fun. It's competent fun. It's takes a lot of care and skill to make something that can take itself seriously while still be ridiculous.

As someone who has been a fan since 1977, Rogue One is my second favorite after The Empire Strikes Back, and the only Disney Star Wars I loved.

Man I've had Marvel burnout for so long, the last project I enjoyed was Loki, but I was so surprised that I really enjoyed this movie. It was just so fun and I found myself getting giddy along with Kamala every time something cool happened. The fights and switching between the 3 mains was honestly some of the most interesting action we've had in what feels like forever. I laughed the enitre horror-flerken scene, half out of disbelief that what I was seeing, and the other half just absolutely loving it. If you had told me 10 years ago that we'd have a Marvel movie where a swarm of kittens ate an entire space station of agents, I would have laughed in your face. Now look where we are! I had a lot of fun with this movie.

also, i love the way that the "invincibility" of the elements foreshadow the end of the film. it's amazing, and it makes it that the ending doesn't feel like a deus ex-machina at all!

I'm surprised that you concluded that the guys are Nazis from the Iron Cross on the hood of the one vehicle (which has some plausible deniability) but didn't mention the SS skull and crossbones in Humungus's revolver case.

What no one expected was a relationship with the 3 previous to Spectre and No Time To Die. So Spectre is an important bridge to No time to Die. It even hinted the scene where Madelyn met Safin when she was young. So everyone questioning to Mendes why he did "bad" directing it was unwarranted.

It’s taken me years to realise but I wouldn’t change how long I had to wait to get this movie. They built up to it and it was perfect! We waited years! Knowing it was coming! Anticipating, Speculating, Theorising. We knew it was coming but fearing just maybe they wouldn’t pull the trigger. But then they delivered. The death of Cinema! Going out in all its grander. There hasn’t been a worthy trip to the theatre since. The last good Film. What a hill to die on!

"If we didn't consume, they wouldn't create." This is only the half-truth, because at the same time they run propaganda, lobbying organizations, think-tanks, and many other methods to ensure that consumption increases so that demand can always rise. A prime example, the military industrial complex and lobbying for getting involved in wars. If there wasn't consumption, they will create it so there is a need to fill.

What I love about Ted lasso, is that it's been really long since we've gotten unironic American wholesomeness in a foreign context. It's a story of small town american values bettering the world. Most of the time, Americans in foreign contexts are depicted as obtuse or apologetic. It's nice to see the best parts of being an American win.

5:30 / 8:23 Gotta love how Max is forced to learn that he's not the only clever guy 'round these parts. 15:48 Sons of truck drivers, represent! 16:18 It always irked me how Mel referred to a shotgun shell as a "bullet." Shotguns don't take bullets! Slugs don't count. They're sort of their own thing. Plus, firing slugs out of a stubby-barrel'd sawed-off is just unprofessional. 17:41 It always irked me how Bruce holds that crossbow with the fingers of his left hand just waiting to get split open by that crossbow string. Granted, it doesn't have much of a forearm. Simple solution: Just screw a bicycle handlebar onto the front. Then you have a foregrip that keeps the fingers of your support hand safe from getting rope-burned. Other than that, Bruce plays the character perfectly, and The Gyro Captain proves to be savvy in multiple ways.
