Are you taking any other medication besides this and how are you doing now? Have you improved on Stelara?

The video was very helpful. I do mine tomorrow, but I'm scared to death. They also sent vials of benadryl and epinephrine. Do I take them? Also, nobody has shown me anything. Please help .

Is this medication available in an epipen? All other biologics are. No way I can watch and stick in this needle!! 😮

This is not a conditioner. This is a serum. You can use on both dry and wet hair. I personally used to apply it to dry hair right before straightening with a flatiron. It worked phenomenal! Edited: and you don’t need a lot! Literally a drop or two, rub hands together, and apply with downward strokes, avoiding the roots (they’ll end up greasy-looking).

Thank you for doing this. It feels better to see a real person, not an animation or nurse. I'm helping my son for the first injection tomorrow, and I know we are both nervous, but your matter of fact calmness is a comfort. Breathe in, breathe out, slow injection. I don't know if he wants to do it or have me do it, but I after watching, I think we got this. :)

Every time I give myself a shot it bends the needle :( I may have to quit taking Stelara because it has given me psoriasis. Where most people it clears it up it gives me psoriasis

Ugggggh, you have it way worse than me, i flared once 15 years ago pretty bad and was diagnosed really soon after, was on lialda for a minute until i couldn't get it through my insurance (700$/month) Stopped altogether but i just had a minor flare. Some discomfort and lots of bathroom visits. Back on genetic lialda and feeling better already

Thank you so much for your video! I came looking for info because I am about to give myself my first Stelara home injection in a few days. I was really hoping it’d be an auto-injector…. So I’m pretty nervous now. 😬 But I appreciate your encouragement and your clear instructions and demonstration! I can do this!! Because I must!!!

I feel for you, I was diagnosed when I was 12 and it took me 2 years to get diagnosed. I'm now 26 and Doctors still don't know much about this shitty illness....pardon the pun. You get used to taking the meds🥲 I flare up every 3 months 🤦‍♂️ and it's not fun. But keep on fighting and pushing on🙌❤️ Massive tip, flushable toilet wipes are a life saver!!!! Stops the sting of normal tp😅

I am sorry that you've had this horrible experience with uc. I had uc for 30 years and did everything the dictors told me and only got worse. They wanted to cut part of my intestines out and i said NO! I came across this special diet and eventually got off all meds .. it's called the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. The doctors are pill pushers. Take charge of your own health. By the way, I have been off medication for over 10 years.

I’ve been on Stelara for almost 5 years now, but I still like to watch a video to remind myself of the steps and that it’s not that bad. This is the best video yet! Might actually convince me to inject in my stomach instead of thighs sometime!! Sending love and hope for lasting remission for all of us!

Doc tried to get me on this. I refuse. I hate needles and can't inject myself. It's an autoinjector or nothing.

It’s funny cause I’m the opposite. I HAVE to see the needle and be able to control it myself. I recently switched to Humira and I tried the auto injector and couldn’t do it. They sweitched me to the syringe and I’ve been fine. Wishing you the best!
