  Only an amateur revs it like that at start-up. It’s completely unnecessary in a fuel injected car, plus there is no oil in the top end yet, dry sump or not.

  That’s literally how the c8 starts up on a cold start. The oiling system is a dry sump system with an external pump. Y’all really get on here and hate and have no idea what you’re talking about.
