  Sometimes from underneath where the cargo doors are and sometimes from the captain seat with open all exterior doors keybind, which you have to set in keybinds 👍

  Thanks for the great video! I am a pretty new player to SC and finally managed to procure a Drake Corsair. I have not tried space combat bounty hunting missions yet, all my combat experience has been planetside on foot, which is what I enjoy the most. But I definitely want to get into the space combat gameplay loop, especially if there is potential for loot like this! But my problem is two fold: 1) I have minimal to zero space combat experience. I have watched some tutorial videos so I do have basic knowledge of space combat but little hands-on experience 2) I have little to no rep/progression so no access to ERTs for quite a while. Would it be possible for me to join your org? If so, how do I go about that?

  Hey 👋 yes you are welcome to join our org. Visit the ADI star citizen forum page and it will instruct you how to join. It’s very simple and I was gaming with the Org in no time. Like 20minutes from wanting to join 😂 Then we can group up and ERT on coms. Always people playing most nights. Once you group with someone who has the rep you can do ERTs straight away 👍 Most difficult thing about space combat is not colliding with other ships, then powering to weapons with F5 and powering to shields with F7 is quite important but apart from that you will be all good 👍

  I’m using the M7As too and do also hard kill the ships sometimes. However the repeaters are really bad this patch so I’m gonna stick with the cannons. What ship you using?

  @@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi I use a Taurus as well, I got the advice to just max shield triangle mid fight and switch one cannon to the right mouse fire group so I can soft death once their shields go down

  Lag pip circle shows where bulets will go You can go in to cockpit sit in pilot seat and press open all button no need to blow up the ship

  If you had the rep in previous patch, you get access almost immediately after doing first bounty certification mission. You still have to build rep again but missions are unlocked.

  Ye fighter ships are harder! But you have to do ERTs for these big ships and not HRTs. I have access to them as I have full rep in the last few patches. Even though I show low rep I still have access to higher missions. Keep grinding till you unlock the certification for ERT bounties or group with someone who has access to them 👍

  I use my Corsair + Mirai Pulse for this missions too in asteroid field Yela.. I park with my Corsair ~17km away from target and fly in with the Pulse. If i come near to the ships (~50m) mostly the shield from targets are going off. So i can check with Scan what is inside and open easy the cargo bay (excepted Hammerhead,Corsair). I can destroy with Pulse all weapons from enemey ships. Thats funny, if they begin to move and can´t fire. Only problem is the redeemer , the Pilot is always bugged and i can´t shoot him out of the seat. Pilot stand behind/in the seat. I use this way, because to often i destroy the ships completly, if i attack them with my Corsair ....

  My pledge is the Taurus so I can do the ERTs in that and then get millions in loot to buy any ship. If you don’t have a powerful enough ship, I would suggest doing the ERTs in a group and then sharing the earnings. Best advice I can give you is to join an Org. Makes the game SOOO much more fun. I’m in ADI currently which are a nice group of people if you want to join an Org 👍

  I try the last 3 days ERT mission and the result is disappointing. I think it was ~10 mission and often ships are empty (i open the cargo door) or there is only a few quantanium. No Eggs :-(.

  Yes I’ve done a few with totally empty ships and then some with loads of cargo. I think they made bigger drops but more rare.

  Will have a look for you see if I can find one. Once you start bounties, keep your eye on the rep tab and when you get a full bar on each tier there will appear a mission you have to pay for which will be an evaluation mission to unlock the next level of missions 👍

  There isn't a right or wrong way to do something of course...but i've found it easier just to sit in the captain's chair and open all doors in ships like the hammerhead, 890j, etc. Also, i don't trust scans and have been rewarded for that a few times.

  Ye tried the captains chair open all doors last night and it worked great 👍 And ye the scanner is dodgy hey! But majority of time for me it’s quite accurate when it works! Sometimes the good stuff scrolls of the page in the list of scan results so you don’t see it in list but it’s in ship 👍

  Idk how you’re getting missile locks, I’ve been running bounties in my Taurus but whenever I target lock and go into missile mode it’s a nothing burger, no big white circle or anything so I end up jousting and getting rammed 😢

  I have had times when I have full missiles and can’t fire any. Usually it goes once I repair or blow up and reclaim the ship but I don’t actually know why it happens. Try some missiles in a different ship and see if they work?

  Thanks for your Video. Well done. I got often ERT Mission on Daymer or Cellin. Do you have for me an tip how to handle to get in Yela asteroid field ? Do you Cancel/abandon the mission which are not at Yela ?

  No I don’t cancel. If you cancel they don’t seem to pop up for a while. You can engage them from distance with missile and then head up out of atmosphere to make planet ones easier. Or wait maybe 10 min for a new one to pop if you abandon planet one. But you might end up with planet one again after, that’s the risk.

  I tried it recently, will do a video on different shooting modes soon. But I didn’t really like it as much as I used to. The crosshair just doesn’t track the targets well and I miss a lot of shots. Especially when using ballistics, it wastes a lot of bullets.

  I like it slower for FPS and when looking round the cockpit on the screens and free look. Also have to have it slow when using the tractor beam turret, otherwise it’s just mentally fast trying to load the cargo. I can speed it up on the mouse when I need to but this speed works best for all things I find 👍

  There will be a certification mission (s) you need to do in the Bounty Hunter list. Each time you rank up you do a certification mission to unlock Hrt, Vhrt, Ert. They will be missions you have to pay for, not ones that pay you for doing the mission. They might be in other systems around the verse not only crusader. Take you all over the place but worth it 👍

  You will get the mission from the area you are in. But the location of the target for the mission could be anywhere in the verse.

  Yes I had that problem at the start, keep an eye out for only missions with HRT or VHRT written in brackets at the end of the mission name. They will be ship combat missions.

  I know, when I play with Org mates we check them but when I’m playing solo and trying to keep time down on the vids I don’t bother. You used to be able to scan from inside ship each container but now it seems you don’t get any info so you have to get out and look manually.

  No I don’t think so, you have to group up with someone who already has the rep and access to those missions. Then they can share the ERT with you and you will get massive amounts of rep compared to low level bounties. 👍

  @@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi with the corsair just use the smaller guns on second weapon group to aim at the cargo elevator and it should drop after 2-3 salvos. Just remember the shots come from left wing so you have to aim more to the right than you think if you are ~100-200m from target.

  Did you try opening doors from the pilots seat on the jump? By default, the bind is not set, but you can set one for "open/close all doors" in the settings, or something like that. Much easier than detaching cargo and blowing it up lol. Also huge QoL for your own ship when entering and exiting and lining up your ramp etc.

  If the ship is damaged to the point the elevators don't function usually the cockpit is down also with only the self destruction option available

  Thank you 👍 I didn’t need to do any HRTs or VHRTs this patch as the ERTs just seemed to be unlocked straight away but it’s great to hear there is still some nice loot in the lower level missions 👍 I think ERTs are easier than the lower level missions as you don’t really get many combat specific ships like you do in HRTs and VHRTs. What ship you doing your missions in?

  @brandonstein87 yeah you can find look from HRTs and VHRTs but it's not as common and mainly junk Occasionally you can some drugs But also they're weaker enemies so it full kill them by accident all the time haha

  Decoupled: Secondary thrusters that help maintain your ships steadiness and velocity by pushing in the opposite direction you are heading in. Coupled: You won't have secondary thruster assistance to help slow you down so unless you hold s to slow down if youre going forward for example would be the only way to slow down quickly, coupled would automatically slow you down using secondary thrusters if you were not holding W (I believe they might stay on regardless of you holding the key or not, unsure.)

  Recently, I prefer the Corsair but in the past I used to prefer the Taurus. Now I find I can do more DPS with the Corsair and because the fights are a bit tougher with master modes it just means I’m not at risk for such a long time when I use the corsair cos I kill the targets faster. Also because there is not as many big containers to loot you don’t need a bounty hunter ship with as much storage so in the past the Taurus was great because I could fit a lot of big containers in and wouldn’t have to leave so much loot behind, but now there is only 15 to 20 SCU of value in most ERTs. So the Corsair has ample space.

  It was a nice ship if you’re planning to have large numbers of Org members dropping into combat. Not really great for solo or small party gameplay as it has lots of space for seating and not much else.

  Ye I agree but having to restock them constantly gets a bit annoying, especially when half the planet landing areas don’t repair the ships properly. Sometimes I have to hop to multiple landing areas just to get the repair to work. So I like to stick with lasers. 👍

  Couldn't you have used the Taurus' tractor beam to load the cargo instead of using your multitool? Isn't the built in tractor beam the whole point of having the Taurus over the Andromeda?

  You can do yes. But when you go to open up, if it’s just a couple of containers I usually just grab it quickly with the multi tool. Ship tractor is best for when you have a second player in ship and when some ships are upside down and hard to access.

  Couple tips: 1. when dealing with big ERT targets it's often better to use the lag pip, so that u can target the side of the ship/shield that u want and so take the target down faster. 2. if u struggle with tracking your target in the sluggish Corsair, turn on the gimbals, it actually helps quite a bit. In a small, nimble ship there is no need for that. 3. use the power management triangle to get more out of your guns/shield/boost.

  Thanks for the tips 👍 I’ve tried the lag pip and can’t seem to get my head around it, I just aim at the ship and ignore the pip right? I used to use gimbals all the time by pressing G but now it doesn’t seem to do anything like it used to. Also I have to use the power triangle a lot, without it I wouldn’t be able to stay in the fights, shield regen and guns I mainly use in combat 👍

  @@SC-Vinchenz-lh9gi I have keybinds set to easily switch between lead/lag pip, depending on the target. The way lag pip works is where u position the pip is where your shots will land. So on a big ship, u focus for example the rear and break it's rear shield and hull, so no wasted shots on other parts of the ship. As for gimbals, yes the new system is a bit weird, but basically puts the movement control of the guns to you. I think you can see it from the Corsairs cockpit, when you move your mouse so move your cannons. And they do move faster than your ship, so makes the target tracking easier.

  You’re only using 4/6 weapons you have. Your left click is set to firing only the first group. You can set it to fire all weapons. Also you hit “R” to target specific areas on the enemy ship. Alt+R to go back to normal. And you don’t have to be in precision mode to do it.

  Awesome thanks for the tips on targeting 👍 I will try that in my next battle! Regarding firing the 4/6 weapons, I have them set separately in my VKB trigger. Soft press/full press and normally try to fire 4 until empty mag and then use the 2 wing weapons to keep the enemy shield from regening while the other 4 M7As recharge. Didn’t know you could set them all to 1 button though 👍 thanks for the tip!

  Thats so sad to watch, i did around 10 ert yesterday and hours of ert today . The max load was 400k , how you guys always get so good loot
