Welcome to the Channel! At TimeToGo Travel and Timepieces I will be sharing my travel and watch collecting videos. Thanks for watching and if you enjoy please like and subscribe:)
I own all the 4 of the BUND issued 5100 pilot chronographs and some civilian ones. The 157 would be the last one to go if it had to, the design of the case and the bracelet has that retro but futuristic feel and a freshly serviced 5100 is something to behold. Love the Sinn and the Lemania. Cant get enough of them, sold a Tudor chrono and a Speedy to fund more.
@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepiecesКүн бұрын
Oh cool. Such a huge fan of the Sinn/Lemania watches. I'll definitely pick up another one or two over time. About as cool a watch there is to me. Thanks!

@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces definitely do. Look at the 1st gen Fortis Cosmonauts Chronograph and/or the Sinn 140/142 space chronos if you want to touch on the space heritage of the brands and the movement... The Sinn 156 is legendary in its own right and the first try from Sinn to win a tender that would continue the 1550SG Heuer/Sinn government contract. There are a lot of brands that used the 5100 but i think that Sinn,Tutima, Fortis and Heuer are the way to go. Oh and be quick, the hot models have been steadily rising in value and some of them going astronomical like the Orfina 7177 and the EZM 1. Cheers

Grew up with my father wearing a Bonklip style bracelet in the 1950's. Still have the now well worm bracelet that I used until I found the Forstner Klip. Purchased 3 of the Forstner Klip bracelets. The 20mm end link model is perfect match for my Seiko 38.5mm Prospex diver - both watch & bracelet have both polished & brushed sections, matching well. The light weight & smaller size of the watch head provide an excellent light weight dress diver combination.
