Jesus, getting the crowd to sing over the solo. Reminds me of when they (the real Roses) played Reading (without Reni or Squire) and Brown shouted out "all together now!!" for the chorus of Made of Stone - that's when the crowd knew that the Roses were truly over.

Jesus Christ! I wasn't gonna make the following comment, would've just kept it to myself...but at, like two minutes in, Ruzz, you are seriously as good as anybody I've ever heard on that guitar. That's not empty flattery. At this second minute, I'm just in awe...at how fluent & versatile & lively your solo ideas emerge and connect...I'm really a snob about what is entertaining blues guitar...I've got **real** few favorites, & even those only really hit one or two out of the park every couple of albums or so,...like if I didn't already play guitar, this song would make feel like I couldn't wait to get one in my hands & **start**. At, again two minutes into the video, you've already accomplished that lol. BUT!! OK, the only reason I **am** gonna make the following comment is because you ARE such an incredibly entertaining guitarist, that I'm so enjoying, that I kind of, paradoxically, owe you this comment...withholding it would be like co-signing foreseeable disaster or something, & who could wish that on artists that delights them? ;) Here's the comment. Man, put some fkn EFFORT into your VOCALS. You're FRONTING a band. And you're treating the vocals like they're some soggy old newspaper draped on as afterthought. It's not fair to the rest of the band: no matter how great they play, an indifferent, half-assed 'yah, here are some words too' singer is going to just flat turn a buch of people off & away, before your guitar can establish why they will want to keep listening..or even despite that. I was a micro-hair away from "NEXT"-ing myself: the guy **telling** me the story of the song, the **story** (or feeling or vibe) that was so urgent & necessary a **song** had to be written about it -- the singer's basic job to be the ambassador, to the audience, of that original excitement behind/in the tune -- well, here that guy just didn't seem to give a shit. Until he really shifted down and floored it on his axe. I almost missed that. I'm certain many, many have. Put some of the same punch and verve and emotion & vitality you're hosing out into the world through that guitar into moving some big air and some soulful tones, & you'll be astonished at how much more eagerly you'll be received. I hope this gets to you. I notice now that it's been seven years, doh. (Since your ever, not since I start this comment...but I'm sure it's close ;) ) Really **really** great playing, man. Now, man up on the fronting responsibilities lol. (Your bass player & drummer, big thumbs up, too. They're probably glad, now, that they didn't sing lol)
