Don that has been rested can’t be attached unless you have abilities that specifically so say like the Leader Luffy. You can use effects at any point even after attacking unless they have specific situations that they would activate.

I have a theory that Bandai gave us a secret rare for collectors (badass Shanks art but kinda mid from a competitive standpoint) and one for players (cool anime art Yamato, but such an amazing meta card)! Maybe to appease both sides of the card game fanbase, assuming this was intentional

Even though the art is amazing, having to pay 4 don for this card is just not worth it. If it was 2 Don or maybe 3 with more power, it would be great, but i really don't see how you are going to get much value out of playing this card. Maybe it will actually be good, but imo definitely not as good as you say.

The art is really good, but I feel like you're hyping up the effect too much tbh, if he activates it through the trigger then yes, it's insane, but to pay 4 don just to get a rested one once, that's too high a cost, plus he only got 2k power. If he had like 5k for example then I'd say he'sa worth it but tbh the only thing he got going for him is activating his effect through the trigger, so I don't think I'll be playing him in any deck for now

I think he makes Kaidos leader effect much more usable, which is lucky to be used once a game. You get a body and an extra don to burn. Seems real good to me!

He can be used to attack characters, bait counters and blockers, and if he’s taking up a space late game, you can always trash him for a bigger damage character. Don can be used to buff him, then be used by don subtraction effects. So a potential free card from life, counter from hand, and early game don gain and body on field sounds real good to me!
