After his spine was folded in half, the ladder was firmly locked in place.
Wasn't Tesla the father of electricity?!?! ;) but he was a terrible salesmen...
When you're selling to the decision maker, there is no such thing as "buuuudget". All there is: ROI/is this worth it/why should I do it?
Rider = the brain. Elephant = the emotion. People buy based on emotion. Facts may bring them to the conversation, but the emotional trigger is what makes the decision.
Classic. "Now it's locked in place"
Got to love that line :)
That's clever. Looking beyond the typical sales cases.
Great 2 questions you're asking, Charles. 💡
Hey Mo, I'm keen to hear from you about your "whip of focus." What is it, and how do you utilise it?
Yes, all dads who carry the parenting load feel like this
It took some time getting use to & we love him to bits. It's all worth it :)
Great video, Charles. I like the Be Like Bamboo phrase.
Thank you for watching & let’s all bend and not break, especially in challenging times.
Little Leo is to adorable!
Thank you so much, he was so well-behaved!
Excelent video Charles. A fantastic story and very real. Thank you very much. Regards from Mexico City.
Really enjoyed this. Nice one 🫡
Without a doubt I would take 100 new clients. Why. Because 100 clients will turn into 99 returning clients. BOOMSHAKALAKA!
Love your optimism!
🤭 *promo sm*
Wonderful video! Thank you Charles.
Thank you so much! I am glad I can provide value.
Ha ha, "You're asian and supposed to know maths", I really love this story and illustration.
That is the stereotype I've been getting since high school days :) Glad you like the story!
It's true tho.
Love it Charles
@@YokevanDam Glad you like it, if we keep an open mind we can learn each day.
@@TheMagicSauce My sister has a PHD in Maths...so yes 😀😀
Oh, I love the IRL interview!
So do I! Hope we can do IRL in the near future.
Great Advice. Thank you Charles. I'm greatful that my manager does not micromanage us. But i know many people who need this advice.
You are one of the lucky ones! I doubt people aspire to be a micromanager when they get first promoted. Most people have some level of 'healthy concern' about not becoming that person. That’s a good place to start!
curiosity is so important to the sales conversation! great tips!!!
Likewise to your video, happy selling !
Great framework Charles 👊🏽💥
You just made my day. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing Charles! Being newly diagnosed myself (aged 39!), it's great to see others harnessing the strengths of ADHD!
For many years (nursery-high school) I lived with a certain Shame because I thought something was ‘wrong’ with me. the teachers would complain that I was disruptive, I was doing poorly in school, I talk to much etc. The funny thing is I ‘talk’ for a living now 😄
Great story, Charles. I am working on Vasa Warship as we speak. Also with a client who changes their mind a lot, so it is my role to set up guard rails early. Not the easiest, but we're getting there.
🤣 I’m sorry to hear 👂 Super happy that you enjoyed the story, I wonder if the client will ‘click’ if you share the Vasa lesson?
Great post Charles! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very useful and to the point! Thank you for sharing these little gems on closing!
Take it, use it, put your own finger print on it :)
Thank you) I like that))
Always a good watch.
Glad to share my thoughts 💭 thanks for the support
Agreed! Also, the best sales person the the one who knows what they're selling is the best (albeit only in their own minds). Trust in your product/service.
Hi Jaco I want to make sure I understand what you mean- A salesperson that understands and believes in their services and products will make more sales? If that is the case- Yes and no. Yes- A salesperson needs to understand his industry and takes time to understand a client’s pain points. No-If he talks more than he listens, then he won’t have long term success. Think about a call centre agent that talks and push the product as soon as you answer the call, will that make you want to buy? I doubt :)
Very nice story a little long but i like the end i sub to your channel :)
Thank you watching & appreciate the subscription!

Do you believe the words we speak over ourselves matter & how does it relate to personal finance?
What is the most outrageous bad decision or idea you have sold to yourself? What was the result?
Very interesting.

Very true.
Fascinating and encouraging to her Gerhard's story, and how he integrates his faith with his business.
Thank you Charles for this interview with Gerhard. It's encouraging to hear Gerhard's story and the hope he ignites for entrepreneurs and other business people in this time of economic uncertainty.
This sows a seed of hope as we realise that we may actually be rejecting our greatest strength.
Wise observation! Thank you for the comment.
This is so encouraging, thank you.
Please do share with other people that might benefit from the story!
