The reason you have two buns for the pinpoint because if you hit the pinpoint button second time and third time it keeps making the object smaller so that you can distinguish it’s a large object or a small object and exactly where it is under the ground
By any chance have you run across a source of the 4in.ultra coil that you reviewed in an earlier video? I have contacted FTP and cannot get a straight repeatable answer from them about it depending on who answers you it either does not exist,or it is the same one that I already have(4coil)that I use on my pioneer ex which is almost twice as deep 7in.on a quarter.but on my QD pro 4in. I wouldn't have thought 1khz difference would have made a 75% reduction in depth .

I used speakers for many years myself. Then switched over to headphones once footsteps in games became more prominent. Peace my dude.

I sure enjoyed this informative video. I will be on the beach July 5th at 5:30AM with both a new 540 and sand scoop. I’ll probably use relic mode, no iron unless you suggest something else.

Just got one myself and dont feel like mine performs nearly as good... It is either very erratic or just not sensitive at all... The nail test is also very random on mine, and not something consistent
It's 3 years later but thanks for your review and testing. I've finally got around to getting this machine and it's working fine. The only issue I have is with its Micro USB port. It should have been outfitted with a better connection interface like with the Minelab detectors.

Very in-depth video, where the multi frequency comes in is with high mineralized soil and more so on the beach because single frequency machines don't like the beach especially wet sand
I've heard many complaints about the Garret cuff being too short and nonadjustable. Putting your arm under the Velcro strap is the way to use it as it provides a bit of leverage when swinging it than having your arm on top. Although I believe everyone has their own way of swing any detector, the hard way would be struggling with it as a result of not having balance especially when walking. it takes time working with any detector to become familiar with it. Practice practice.
Has this scope held up? It's 2024 and I'm considering picking one up on Amazon for some nocturnal rodent control at shortish ranges....like 30-60 feet.
Amazing how fast the evolation of detectors has changed to current day. Garrett was the brand I started with in the 80’s and I ahoping their new Storm series gets them back into the mix of being either at or ahead of the modern-day detector tat take on both the Minelab Xterra Elite and the Nokta Triple Score at the value end of Simulateous Multi-Frequency, and take on the XP Deus II and Minelab Manticore at the higher end offerings.I’ve put my purchase decision off until after the upcoming June 18th reveal from Garrett.

My direct neighbors are all pretty cool thank goodness. I might focus them into lasers for the ones down further though.
