  I flew to Europe and Africa for years every couple months. I Decided to fly spirit for a year (locally) to save money. TONS of crazy turbulence that would make people scream and sometimes cry. Scraped me but I didn’t learn my lesson UNTIL The last flight from pa to Florida. had SUCH bad turbulence (for 45 min) that it knocked a lady out of the bathroom ,bare azz , in to the aisle and then seconds later a suitcase came out from overhead smashing someone in the face. I was crying and praying as were MANY others. The flight attendant tried to console me saying “it’s ok honey-we glide right through because spirit airlines makes their planes lighter than other planes and uses lighter metal”… Well, you can imagine that through me into an even greater panic! I was having chest pains by the time we were landing. on the way out, I angrily spoke with the young female pilot. “Do you always fly your planes like this?! “ She giggled thinking it was comical and said “Truth be told we clipped part of the hurricane cloud to save some time and get you here sooner.” I was horrified and screamed “I will never fly your airline again!!!!!!” She laughed and said “see you on your return flight” I lashed back . “No you won’t b!tch!!!!” a week later, I rented a car and drove myself and my two kids back home. Haven’t flown since and that was 3 yrs ago. I have crazy ptsd now about flying 😭😭😡😡😭😭
