The crazy heart chain I love it was one of my favorites I came up with I love it in the crown part. Thank u for sharing it off.
THANK YOU FOR THE TUTORIAL
You're welcome 😊
For the heart chain, how far apart are the pegs?
I haven't done this one in a long time! I don't know who created it, I saw it on Pinterest and figured out how to make it lol.
lol! I know the video I saw from your channel was old! You’re such an awesome OG! ❤️❤️❤️
@@apdesignstx aww thanks! you're contributing so much to the mum community!

Thanks for sharing! 😍 So Pretty! Very nice that you gave a shout out to Miss Hyla, I really do like that because women really do want to be supportive in our small businesses and that's a BIG deal for me personally because I'm a lifelong supporter and advocate to those types of organizations!

Love all your videos❤
Thank you so much! 💝💝 I’m working on a new one now!! 🤪
Great tutorial
Thanks Amanda 💝
Is that luster.
Sure is! The yellow and blue are both gold label Lustre
If you take next size down backer you can use as a template to make perfect circle
Great job
Thank you, I can’t wait to try this❤
@@elizabethcleaver2122thank you for everything, QUEEN!! ❤❤❤❤
I still haven't tried the crazy heart chain. The cascading hearts is one of my favorites, I do that one the most.
I hope you do it soon! If you don’t make a video you still gotta post on Facebook so I can see 😍
@@apdesignstx 💜💜💜I will!!
Okay, I am getting set to do the ruffle Braid. Got my Rufflers, and now I am wondering if you used Satin or some kind of softer ribbon?? I have the braiding ribbons , I mean they call it McGinley Satin, however it does contain acetate. Would you give me an idea on what you used on he blue and yellow. Thank you again!
Yes! 💝 I used Gold Label McGinley Lustre on the blue and yellow. I know that Connie at Southern Cottage has a video of a bow braid using softer ribbon. I think that satin would still work on this, it would just be softer and more dainty. At least in my head, LOL! Let me know how it goes!! Would love to see a pic of what you make.
@@apdesignstx thank you so much! I like the way your ribbon ruffles, and I'll try the satin too. Connies was awesome with the bling
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love the Angry Teenage Girl Braid! Definitely adding this one to my mums. Thanks for the tutorial. 😊
Hahaha! Yes!!! You’re welcome! Let me know if you have any others you’d like to see me do, even if it’s just a picture! I can figure it out 🤪🤪 Thank you!!
great tutorial
Thank you so much!! ❤️🎀
Love the crazy hearts. ❤ A cute variation to the crazy loops. We love using them on out specialty ribbon 🎀
Yes! 🥰🥰
Awesome!
Thank you ☺️
the cascading heart is my favorite of all the heart chains.. I like your unique pattern/design (how you attach lol). I actually filmed one today lol
Ohhhhh I can’t wait to watch! I just saw another one similar to it that I love (of course I have no idea what it’s called). I’ll have to send you a pic or maybe I’ll add it as a mini-sode video LOL. I can’t wait to see more of your videos! I’m currently in the middle of watching your live from the other day!❤️
@@apdesignstx aww thanks for replaying that! "mini-sode" love that!
I made a jumbo bubble gum braid and I love it! So much fun 😊💕
Ohhh I would love to see it if you can post! Bubblegum braids are one of my favs…but sadly I’m more often than not on the lazy side when it comes time to make it LOL! Though I did get a ribbon cutting machine that has made it way easier, so maybe I’ll have to give a jumbo one a try! Love it!
Mine does not look like that. Lol. Cool, but I ran out of the middle one.
That’s ok, you can always staple and hide it. Actually lots of people don’t braid using the full length because it’s too much ribbon to work with, you got this! Maybe I can post a short video of how to do that and how to hide the connection of the added ribbon…hmmm I like it, thanks for the idea, LOL!!
I love that you left the mishaps so we can see how to fix them ❤
You know I started to take it out and thought, “maybe this could be useful”, so glad it helped! Maybe I’ll just make a video of mistakes and how to fix them, though in my case that would be a reaaaaalllllyyy looonnggg video, LOL!
Love it! ❤
Thank you! 😊
💜💜💜
it needs to be changed to "the angry teenage girl braid" 😂 I don't know who created it either. aww thanks for the shout out! Beautiful 💜
LOL, I'm sayin'!! Thank you!!
@@apdesignstx now if I make one I'll be calling it the angry teenage girl lol
🤣same!!!
You tickle me so much every time I watch your videos. I love your commentary lol.
lol yay! At least someone is getting a kick out of it!!! Thanks for watching ❤, I usually can’t make a video with out a Connie reference 😂
😘
How did you put the ribbons together to make the braid i am still having a hard time getting it done right thank you Maria Elizondo
Let me put something together this evening and I’ll send it to you! 🎀❤️
How are you gluing the two together?? Gluing a ruffle to ruffle, or top of , then bottom or, or skipping one. I'm watching your hands, but can't really tell. Thank you!!
Hi! I am gluing the two "spines" together and doting glue on each ruffle, then pressing them together ruffle to ruffle. I hope this helps!
REally Cute and so fluffy!! Love it!
I know! I really do love it!
I still haven't tried this chain. Beautiful!
Thank you!! Give it a try, I would love to see what you do with it!!🎀
You should put it on… so I can see how it looks
I'll try that when I start building one! I'll be sure to post!
I just started this to try but read somewhere to keep your glue sticks in the freezer. I plan on using them in a day or two, I’ll update if it works
Girl yes! If that works please let me know!! Thanks for sharing!
@@apdesignstx I forgot to put them in the freezer last week, but power was out a couple days anyway. I put them in tonight so I will see if it works
@@apdesignstx😂😂 I just found this comment so that I could respond with results! 🤦🏼♀️ using the glue sticks that were kept in the freezer didn’t work for me… and once I tried I started thinking maybe I’m an idiot because they are frozen…. 🥶 and it would barely come out of the gun. 🤷🏼♀️
Where do I get the ruffle maker
I got mine from Flippity Flair. Messege her on Facebook to order : facebook.com/FlippityFlair
I have never seen the ruffle braid before. I'm having trouble with dimensions. What is the width of your ribbon and the length of your box pleats? The blue and yellow is beautiful. Also did you double your ribbon?
Hi! Thank you April! I did not double my ribbon by color on that one. So I'm using 1 of each color per side. I'm using a #9 (1 5/16) I'm using Gold Label McGinley Satin Royal Blue and Golden Yellow. The Golden Yellow looks SOOOOO good with the Royal Blue. The pleating tool I'm using is helping me to create pleats that are about 1.5" ea. On this one, I don't think I precut the ribbon, I think I'm doing it right off the spools. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions :)
What size ribbon did you use on the big ones?
Hi! I used #9 (1 5/16") for all but the Cottage Corset. For that one I used #5 (7/8"). Thanks!
So gonna try
Love your videos. Easy to follow and can see what your doing really well.
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate the support!!! Much love ❤️ ❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Angela did an amazing job on this! So cool to have it all in one. Thanks for showing it live!
She absolutely did, that’s why I had to share! Totally wanted to support her for doing this for us! ❤❤❤
For the hot glue strings, dab the tip of your glue gun on the ribbon to “cut off” the glue instead of just lifting your glue gun away. Think of of it like the meaty cheese on a good slice of pizza, you gotta cut it off. 😊💕
Thank you so much for the tip!!! That totally worked!!! And the analogy?? Perfecto!!! lol!!!!!! I appreciate it, you’ve helped me up my glue game! 😘 I know it seems like such an obvious thing , but I have no explanation to why I didn’t just do that 🤣😂
@@apdesignstx my pleasure, also my apologies for the typos too 😊💕
Beautiful braid
Thank you ❤❤❤
okay you inspired me! getting my rufflers out now
That just totally makes me feel so stinkin awesome since you have inspired me more times than I can count!! Cloud 9 engaged!!! ❤😂
@@apdesignstx aww 🥰☺ I made one with diamond dust and burgundy luster its not perfect by any means but turned out pretty.
GREAT VIDEO! thanks for sharing your talents! 💛

Connie did a whip last season with a braid wrapped around it during a live last season, really cool
Oh I bet!! She does terrific work!! I’ll have to go see if I can hunt the live down! I tried putting one together like that (normal sized, lol) and I just couldn’t make it work when I stapled it. Then I tried to glue it and ugh, I just need to try harder. I need some inspo!! ❤❤
@@apdesignstx I don't know if she ended up leaving it on there, but she showed how you could do it. I;ve draped some braids around the mum and attached to other braids including the whip. It can cause whole other issues. like making that braid its attached to lay wonky and weird.
"Texas sized" love it!
I need to get my rufflers out! Beautiful 💜 Connie did something similar, I think she called it "bow braid" not sure it's the same or not though. Love all the creative ideas everyone has been coming up with, gives everyone so many options for their mums!!
Yes!! It is giving that same vibe!! Her Bow Braid is made with just one ruffled ribbon and then I think the ruffle is pulled or glued into a bow shape. This one is gluing two ruffled ribbons together kinda like the ruffle braid, but instead of on the edges, glue the ruffles together. I LOVE her Bow Braid!
Oh and agreed!!! Look what all us creative queens can accomplish together!!!! ❤❤❤
@@apdesignstx I need to try all these techniques! I haven't made but a couple of them.
@@apdesignstx so true!!
I haven’t seen it before but it’s super cute!
I know , right?!! ❤❤ Mystery Braid for the win!!
When Mums-Inc released this braid on their site, I quickly tried it. Such a pretty braid.
It really is!! Thank you for watching!!!
I love this braid I designed. I call it the Desire. I braid the Desire up the sides when I braid it. Some people like to weave it in after the military is completed. Either way is perfect.
Oh that's great feedback and I'll try that next time!! I appreciate it!
I call it the Flip MilBraid because I came up with this design in so many military designs! Four different flips. Thanks bunches
You are awesome! Thanks for sharing the original design with us all!! I'll add a link to your TikTok page too!
@@apdesignstx You are doing a great job on these braid videos. I have new ones coming up later this year. I look forword to seeing your vids.
