I have 14 of megadeths 16 albums only ones I havent got are the first 2 albums I just couldn't get into them. But Metallica are way overrated the first album kill em all is terrible the production is awful. Master of puppets first side is classic the second side is bland. Couldn't stand and justice for all except for 3 songs harvester of sorrow, one and dyers eyes the rest is awful and the drumming is terrible. The black album is a classic then we get onto load, reload which we're hit and miss. As for St anger less said about that album the better sounds like it was recorded in a dustbin. The next album is rather good thought is was the best Metallica album for some years death magnetic no weak song on it. Then comes another poor album hardwired to self destruct with only 2 great songs on it dream no more and moth into flame. As for the new album that's just awful as well only one song I like and that's If darkness had a son So all in all I have only 5 Metallica albums out of 11 They are 1. Ride the lightning 2. Master of puppets. 3. And justice for all. 4. Metallica. 5. Death magnetic. I did have load but sold it I havent listened to Metallica since I left the UK in 2010

I like the diminished/half-step-whole-step unison run in Octavarium. Small position shifts, string changes, bigger position shifts and it’s just 16th note continuously so is pretty good for hand sync. There’s also this basic 6 note pattern from Ben Eller that switches between 16th/Sextuplet notes at different points so that’s (obviously) good for switching between 16ths/Sextuplets but the sextuplets are also nice little speed bursts when you’re 115+ bpm and up

Practicing Mr moustache by nirvana also helps me a lot, the song has high bpm and isn’t very difficult since it’s only 2 strings and 3 dif frets right next to each other
