EXCRUCIATINGLY AWESOME YO
Love a tanker train. USA Trains finally re-doing the 42- and 55-footers is going to hurt us at $140 and $150 a pop.
when is next years show?
May 31st largescaletrainshow.com/
Reminds me of the show trailer park boys
Those Pennsy E units are gorgeous!
Those ones are actually my own personal engines I took to run. They not only look good but run great as well!
Awesome layout.Thanks for sharing
There is no such thing a G gauge. G scale uses 1 gauge tracks, along with several other scales. This is one time when the difference between scale and gauge is very important to be aware of.
I agree that it was very important to specify due to the difference between gauge and scale. That's why I said g gauge referring to the gauge of the track and not the scale of the trains. G Gauge isn't exactly correct but more people search for g gauge than 1 gauge. However, this is also why I say "Large scale" as it encompasses mostly all the scales that operate on 1 gauge/g gauge track.
@@MrPictovid I like your explanation but it is unfortunately more complicated than that. The locomotives you show are standard gauge, American, modern diesel locomotives. For them to run gauge 1 track they are most likely in scale F, 1:20.23, while scale G is 1:22.5
Yet it gets more complicated than that because the majority of what's in that video is 1/29 scale although there is some 1/24 and 1/32 pieces mixed in. Unfortunately you'll never get everyone to agree on the answer. I'm hoping you at least enjoyed the video though.
This ist a wondervoll railroad from garden
The owner definitely puts a lot of work into it!
That is one nice railroad. I like the waterfall 😊
It sure is! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Is there a night time run video also?
Unfortunately no, just a few clips mixed in. It can be difficult at times to get nice crisp video at night.
This is beautiful and runs perfect. Beautiful yard
Glad you enjoyed it! As you saw towards the end it doesn't always go perfect lol
Where is the best place to buy large scale freight cars? Thank you!
Well, "best" is subjective but here are some excellent places to buy large scale trains from. www.rldhobbies.com/ www.reindeerpass.com/ www.melovetrainz.com/ www.shopstarhobby.com/ uplandtrains.com/
Magnificent catches of the model trains coming by and pass, I like it 5 stars. Thumbs up. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, i just liked and subscribed your channel, Greetings from Portugal to the USA.
Thank you very much for subscribing!
Awesome running. Thanks Andrew 😎👍

All I can think to say is nice 👍 😅
The layout sure is! Glad you enjoyed the video!

Wonderful thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Andrew Hi Nico
One of my favorite places ever. I was literally shaking when I first went as a little kid. I still have my t shirt I'll always wear each year going to lakeside. Thank you for the memories.
Lower angles makes it more realistic
Sheep on a gp9 lol
I love watching this program because I always finding something new
How is the layout protected from the elements?
The layout itself sets there just as you see it 365 days a year. The locomotives and cars, of course, are put away when not running.
Nice layout you have there, it looks like a lot of fun to operate. I'm trying to get mine to the track laying stage. From hot weather in Southern Nevada and lack of time it's taking longer than I like. Thanks for sharing your awesome video. 👍🏻 🚂🚃🚃🚃
thanks for the cool stream on channel andrew keep up the cool vids and streams thanks lee
Love it. Thank you for another nice video. If you can tell Piko if they would make battery and r/c sound mogul it be a hit and g scale is dying for such a thing. They could keep their lead and it be would be wonderful for the growth if the hobby. And you could expand it into the piko euro models and anything else too. Time is ripe for it.
Hi, you mentioned 4x8 sheets of styrene.. is that 4 feet by 8 feet? I'm hoping to scratch build a couple of 72 ft commuter cars for a start..
Yes, Shane mentioned using 4 feet by 8 feet sheets.
@@MrPictovid thank you.. is that channel you're using or square tube for the spine?
@robertravena everything you see in this particular stream were projects our guest Shane was working on. I thought he said in the stream what he used but I honestly don't remember now. You should be able to get a hold of him through his website canadianrailroads.ca/
@@MrPictovid ok thank you.
THANK YOU
Where is this layout located it is a great layout. I’d like to know what kind of track they are using.
It's in the mountains of West Virginia. All the track I'd Aristo-Craft code 332 Stainless Steel.
Great railroad .Richard Courtney Adelaide south Australia 🇦🇺
Inspiring. Thanks!
Am I the only one who thought that this was a real railway line when I first saw the video?
I'm sure you're not the only, easy to be fooled with all the detail.
408E. The best Lionel engine ever in my opinion. I would love to own one but they cost over $1000.00 if you happen to find one.
You are the best
Very nice thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks for watching
I can’t imagine the time and effort that went into making this railway. 🚂🚃🚃
All the time and effort is highly appreciated by everyone that attends the yearly open houses.
Does everyone bring they’re own cars or does Robbie have a big selection to use?
He probably has an uncountable amount of cars and locomotives!
Also, nice Slash you have!
Everyone brings their own cars and locomotive. Robby typically doesn't supply cars or locomotives for people to run. Well, unless you're buying them lol.
Very nice video here! I was the one guy with the gray southern pacific shirt on just wondering around and looking at the same time and I also was asking about that conrail ore car! I had a good time! I got some stuff there! Thanks for sharing this!
Glad you enjoyed the show and the video! Nice meeting you as well!
Even though I spent $1k there I was a little sad not to see bachmann trains or USA trains there. Hopefully next year the venue is larger and all on one level.
Next years venue is already being worked on. Definitely a little bigger and will all be on one level. We'd love to have Bachmann and USA there! However, that's a pretty big haul for USA. Bachmann could be doable. Tried to get them this year but they had another show they were doing.
More like the BNSF Marceline subdivision with the speed you’re running those freights.
Yeah, some like it fast and others slow lol. Hoping you enjoyed the video!
I love indoor G scale.
For sure, it takes up some space indoors though.
Where can I buy the diesel electric ones from? Also, do they run on 45mm track only?
Can you give me a time stamp in the video for the locos you are talking about?
Where can you buy those stands to raise the track?
That's a good question. You may have to look around to find them. Look for "graduated trestle set" when searching online.
Great video of some fantastic garden trains.
Thanks Mark!
Great layout and fantastic diesel freight trains. Very nice sound of the diesel locomotives. Thanks for showing and best regards from Germany.
Glad you enjoyed it
Marx guy here, a N.H. Plunkersylvanian, great displays.
