  That is one complaint of their kits is they are not as easy to assemble as bandai. Just be careful.

  Nice review! I regret not having picked up this set when I had the chance, I'd love to be able to customize them-- it seems like there are a lot of sculpted details that would pop with a decent weathering job.

  fun review. Really nice to see a review on these figures. Now I really want these. sigh too bad the line seems dead. really poor timing when the pandemic hit( probably messed the timing of manufacturing and distribution)

  I wish someone had a checklist to know which parts from which kits were compatible with each other, lol. Bandai is great for bodies, but their faces and hair are lacking. Koto can be pretty hit or miss with plastic quality and are way more than bandai. Then we have all these third party entering the fray

  it's a good figure but even with this video, it took me 20 min to figure out the legs because they weren't sliding together as smoothly for me. Then I learned that the leg parts were packed wrong and I thought everything on one side were set to be on that side but the parts for the back right were on the left side and vice versa. I hope this hasn't happened to anyone else

  I was thinking about getting it yesterday at Target for 20$ but I saw the die cast 1/24 scaled g1 Optimus Prime from Jada for 16$ so I bought that instead of the micro machine Optimus Prime. I might go back to Target today and get it but I’m not sure what they are doing by not having Roller as the added micro machine vehicle instead of Tracks is kind of a bummer and a missed opportunity imo

  This was really great! good job :D I honestly believe Dr Wu will give us some headmaster,master force and even victory saber stuff down the line...technically we already have sound blaster, but I mean more legit characters from these series. But just releasing a cab/armor like this would be pretty perfect. Ginrai is such a great character!

  This was really cool! Erector was also one of my fav TF's of all time. Micro sized? truck with trailer that turns into a sweet base? totally awesome. Plus I liked the colour scheme. I plan on trying to hunt down a complete one at this years TFcon toronto 🥰I'd love to see Dr Wu tackle actual micromasters

  You might be able to piece one together on ebay as well. Luckily these guy hasn't gone up too much in price. This would be a great figure for them to make a new micromaster and a weaponizer trailer.

  Thank you for the comparison. I used to collect the Legion class; I say "used to" because they discontinued it, leaving me with an incomplete line of about 400 figures (including Henkei and movie figures). I was completing my collection with third-party figures, but that Optimus is solid. It's a bit taller but fits well, especially considering Optimus is the leader. I might pick up Megatron if they make one, and Soundwave, who was never released in the 3" size.

  Thanks for this. I won’t razz you too hard on clearly not being up to speed on tool & hardware nomenclature!😉 Found my Sludge for $25 in a box that looked like it was used as a soccer ball. Figure was fine save for the knee joints (hips are fine, but good to see I can address them if needed). It’s crazy how we’re expected to finish these figures! I guess I can tolerate the floppy ‘wings’. Thanks again! Saw there are some upgrade kits that cost more than I paid for this dude! Fudge that! SMH…

  They sell small black rubber wedges at homedepot that can be cut,should i have to do this,I think the rubber will take away from the pin wear and offer enough resistance.

  You can do it! Just don't be in a rush and check the instructions multiple times. My biggest piece of advice that I gave my kids who do gunpla now is just make sure the plastic you are snipping is not meant to be a tab or pin to connect to another part. Let us know how it goes.

  So many wild bits of lore that I wasn't expecting; used to own a toy store, built a whole race car, that mobile game with brain-stuff, real fun video! I also think that the higher production quality is nice, I hope your channel does better in the future (if your concerned about that type of thing), and I personally enjoy the longer form content
