SecondSonWoodworks

SecondSonWoodworks

Second Son Woodworks is a collection of DIY woodworking and maker project videos. My name is Caleb and I am the second son of five kids and an avid fan of building/fixing things. I am not a professional; I do my best to learn from my mistakes, many of which you will see in my videos. I love new challenges and finding efficient/affordable ways of getting things done in the shop and around the house.

My hope for my videos and channel is that they will inspire you to be creative, handy, and not intimidated by taking on new projects. My projects are far from perfect but I always learn something, I enjoy the process, and I get things done.

I hope you enjoy my videos. Thanks for checking this channel out; subscribe, like, share and build something cool...

    You are also using your sander the wrong way, you never angled your sander, you have to go as flat as you can, not pressing, you let the sander do the work so the surface is flat and even.

  • @RamonEspitia-vn4xn
    @RamonEspitia-vn4xn8 сағат бұрын

    You started wrong. You MUST, when you have an uneven surface, with holes, you have to first POUR, no brush, epoxy into those holes, you need to fill those holes first. Let them dry and cure, sand, clean and then POUR, NO brush, epoxy to the entire surface. That is the only way you will not have a crazy amount of bubbles. Using a heat gun, is better than a torch.

    Bro, swap the respirator for real hearing protection. AirPods don’t count. Once you lose your hearing, there’s no getting it back. Wood on the other hand, doesn’t nothing to your lungs. It gets trapped in your nose.

  • @SecondSonWoodworks
    @SecondSonWoodworks19 күн бұрын

    I’ll admit that the Apple pro pods probably aren’t as good full muffs, but the noise cancelling in them actually does pretty good. And you should ALWAYS wear a mask my dude, sawdust isn’t good to breathe in and your nose doesn’t trap it all. There are fine particles that will get into your lungs 🫁 😬

    To avoid the bubbles shoulda used a sealer before the first coat of epoxy. So in effect, the first epoxy coat acted as a sealer
