    another reason it's older people in the elements is they have the time and resources to kit it out and experiment. they've got more income, probably older kids, things like that make a difference.

    Baby, when people are totally unwilling to discuss a problem, they ARE the problem. You continue to do you boo. I understand it's hard when people treat you unfairly, and due to your age, I'm pretty sure you haven't had to deal with as many instances of this as some of us have, but stand strong & don't let ANYBODY bring you down. Good wishes & prayers coming your way. Happy trails to ya!

    Wow. I have a 2005 Khaki 5 speed and am 73 years old. Have my own business for 37 years and competition is unavoidable. My competition is Amazon and Walmart..underpriced me. I would be happy if they charged the same! I believe there is room for both of you. Don't let this take up alot of room in your head. There is a huge demand for good mechanics with integrity. I would be happy to pay you for advice about my Element but not very active on social media..so don't know how to contact you. Don't let this put a damper on your dreams..this will pass.

    Hey buddy. Like you, and MOST rational humans, I detest drama too. You’re such a sharp young man. I’m proud of you for standing up for yourself and making this video. I met you and your girlfriend briefly at the event. It’s such a shame that you have to deal with this kind of childishness. Obviously she enjoys this type of thing. Drives me crazy. So sad. Keep on keeping on and staying positive while she dwells in the negative. Sounds like she’s pretty shady. I’m brand new to this community and am not into social media besides watching wayyyyy too much you tube. I’m in NC too and look forward to possibly meeting you again in the future. God Bless

    Well homie, like Madea said I'm the Tyler Perry's Movie & I'm not even joking or laughing either, but she says " Darling, People are ALWAYSSSS gunna talk aboutchu and Call you names, WHAT & ONLY thing that ACTUALLY matters, is whatchu Answer to". Think about that for a bit, bro. Further more, don't stress their B.s Yeo. .. People suck at times, man. Nothing we can do about it, dude. .. From what I've gathered from ya videos on here, is that You're Smart, Respectful, Seem Very Kind and Truly DO want the drama to stop etc etc... Listen to me, It sucks, BUT You're Hot as Hell, ma Dude, Ya got that energy aboutchu, the past experience and the Knowledge of the Mechanical aspect of things, dude. Start over and rebuild, manz. Again, it sucks, But YOU Can do it, you've got this Homie... Start over and Create Your own group and make sure they Acknowledge Honesty, Integrity, No Drama and Community is Family. Best of luck homie. Keep ya head up and keep on pushing thru. You've got this. Stay Golden. Sincerely, ya new friend from North Jersey. Peace ma Dude

    David I’m an element owner. I’m in several of the groups. I’ve watched this kinda unfold. I can tell you no way would I hire phoenix to work on anything I own. You are clearly a young man of integrity it shows even without this video. There was some miscommunication or lack of communication. This should be easily chalked up as exactly that and refund people’s money that didn’t get what they paid for. As for what you charge or working on elements. Who cares what she thinks! You could charge 349. Or 351 it wouldn’t matter. She’s bitter! People for the most part see through the bs. Phoenix is immature as hell to block, threaten trespassing etc. Keep doing you. It will all be alright You are a good dude.

    Eric, thank you so much for taking time out of your day to watch and write this reply. I don’t know you, and you don’t know me, but the fact that you took time to write words of affirmation and encouragement to a total stranger not only really warms my heart from a selfish perspective, but also shows a lot about who you are as a person. So thank you for that. She’s a crazy one!

    20:38 I will stop here, I got other things to do. Here are my key points as a photographer and business owner who is in different industries also I’m 23 years old who has worked with people older than me. Take it as a learning experience -You should be the one doing the whole logistics with the photo packages and how things are going to be done and handle. You faced a challenge because you were not 100% in charge. As a photographer it should be to your criteria what to charge, how to charge and how to do the whole process. Phoenix did hired you but she shouldn’t had to helped you in any way on that because she is the client. It’s a learning process of course and you could try doing photo packages but you gotta have helpers. 1st station charging and handling papers with what the actual photo package will have , 2nd station giving out information and identifiers and 3rd the photographers. The photographers only job should be take pictures. - Valve adjustments: charge to what seems fair market value taking in consideration experience, gas money, time, tools and taxes. This is a tricky part because you are charging for something to be done well. I quickly checked her page and compare with yours and I will be honest yours look way way more professional. That gives a ton of credibility to your brand. Lesson learned also you cannot please everyone, you shouldn’t worry about pleasing everyone. Worry about building a solid relationship with your clients. I don’t know phoenix side of the story but based on the 20 minutes I have seen this video you are handling it way more professional. Try not to blurry the lines between friendship and professionalism. Remember if it’s not written it did not exist. Work with contracts if possible to everything is there and do not do last minute changes. The issue with the pictures was a miscommunication issue and logistical issue. Things like this are prepared months in advance and last minute changes should never be done. Hope this helps and you learn from it. When drama arrives address each client individually and as professional as possible. I wanted to add something too, people will overcharge and undercharge their services so charge your own price that will leave you a profit. A profit that will actually pay the bills and put food on the table and let the work speak for itself. Same as photography, I see people at Walmart charging $14 for professionally done portraits but that is undercharging. Make sure you do your research on what to charge taking in consideration economics and the inflation rates, cost of gas, cost of everything and then your labor

  • @adrenalinemadness3340
    @adrenalinemadness3340Ай бұрын

    I will leave you with this, do absolutely everything to create credibility around your brand, sometimes you might have to refund a client and you couldn’t really afford to refund a client but that creates credibility and it guarantees your reputation to be solid. You sent the money back and refunded phoenix and then clients reach out to you because they never received their refund. That speaks a lot on who is doing the right thing. Your brand could take many hits with drama and even lawsuits but who are the ones paying your bills and supporting you every step of the way? Your clientele so make sure you build a solid reputation with a lot of credibility and professionalism

    You're twenty years old and you've done quite a lot. That both of you are charging the same amount for a valve adjustment isn't one copying the other it's just where the market is for the service and there should be plenty of element owners that need this service. I've purchased some products from your Toaster Parts company and I'm very pleased. I'm a newbie to the Element community and this is the first "dust-up" I've heard of. We're planning on attending the PNW gathering in August and expect to have a good drama-free experience experience. Thanks for your support of the Element community.

    The star on the windshield was the best idea as the car is stationary. She should not be dissing you on FB since it was miscommunication and her poor decisionto change the procedure to a more confusing way. Offering a photo package was not necessary anyway. Was she making a profit on said package? What ever. Everyone has a camera. An event like that takes 2 or more professional photographers to do pro shots if its a paid package. Yeah, she's an element expert, but she can't tell people not to start an E business. She's being unreasonable and petty. Good luck to you. This mobil mechanic stuff is just a part of your life. A chapter. I see you going far in many things. You rock!

    I am a former member of the woodworking community via instagram and KZread, and I completely understand. Number one, I’m on your side because of who your father is. Number two, I’m on your side because I watched the whole video with Stephanie. Number three, now I want to buy an element and have you come to Texas to get her in shape. We just sold our suv last Wednesday and will pay cash for the next car. Debt free is a real thing brother and you’re smart to stay there. I have no doubt you’ll build your business or a business one day and I promise you won’t need a stupid credit score. Amen and I pray all the blessings upon you and your dreams. This is just a stepping stone. Keep handling things the way you do and you’ll go far. Much respect.

I have a 2008 element I lived and worked out of for 8 months last year and this year and once back during covid. I had a few other Element Owners I invited to share my campsite with in California for 3 months. It wss a lot of fun. I'm home now for a few months. Hopefully you can work on my car sometime before I leave the east coast again.

    @@ToasterPartsrepost my original long message. I'm very sorry you had to go through this. I'm not familiar with this story. I'm probably not the first person to tell you this but throughout your life you're going to have a few of these uncomfortable experiences. They never get better. You never know when they will happen. You'll be shocked and hurt just the same. I'm not quite 3 x your age but I'm older and I just wanted to say after watching this video I admire your courage to push through an uncomfortable situation in your life. I hope your video helps other younger people watching this. I don't have the courage you do to stand up for myself today, but had I pushed through things like you did back in my younger days it wouldn't made me a lot stronger of a person. From my life experience, these uncomfortable life events only occur once every 5 to 10 years ;-) Sorry this was such a long comment but i hope somewhere in my message it helps you. Thanks for sharing your story. By the way, I've met Phoenix once briefly and I thought she wss a very nice person. I'm not saying this to minimize what happened to you. I don't really know either of you. I only know I admire you sharing your story the way you did. You are right about the Honda Element group; it's a pretty cool group, and it does feel like a family with the good and the bad. The relationships that last can only happen with people who can forgive and forget and be there no matter what. I'm lucky to have met a few people in the Element community I consider true friends.
