Do you know those special moments? Those scenes in media when you're just staring at your screen, completely immersed, almost able to physically feel like you're there, your senses falsely picking up everything you think those characters feel? Like waking up from a dream that felt a tad bit too real. This was one of those. And chasing this feeling is the reason I love visual novel-esc experiences.

This video appeared on my recommended one day. I clicked it in interest as I enjoy listening to good video game OSTs. I listened to it for a few seconds thought "neat" and carried on with my day. Later maybe around a week after during a boring summer day im scrolling through my steam account in boredom of what to play when I remember this video and the name "VA-11 HALL-A" as I thought it a interesting name for a game. So I opened up the store and searched up this "VA-11 HALL-A" game to find a this strange visual novel game I had never heard of despite me very much enjoying the cyberpunk genre. So I said "fuck it why not" bought the game with the little money I could splurge for games at the time and booted it up, I played till late that day probably having a solid 7 or so hours just in my first session of it, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Soon the following days would entail me hoping on the game for a few hours maybe getting a few or 2 weeks done, all while enjoying every last second of it. And then as the credits rolled in I could feel tears roll down my face. Not in sadness that it was over but instead tears of true happiness. A happiness that I could experience this absolute masterpiece of fiction. So all I have to say is thank you DLLInvicta for uploading this video if not for you I would have never encountered my all time favorite piece of media I have ever experienced and thank you Sukeban Games for making something that has genuinely changed my life. Because now I think I finally have a understanding of what I want in life
