Did you know Roman soldiers weren't allowed to wear beards? ...
Nice try Roman soldiers were paid in a variety of ways, including denarii, sestertii, and aurei: Denarii A coin made of 95-98% pure silver that was worth 10 bronze asses or 25 silver denarii. According to Polybius, a Greek historian, Roman soldiers were paid around two obols per day, which was equivalent to 120 denarii per year. Cavalrymen received 180 denarii per year. When discharged, legionaries received a final reward of 3,000 denarii, while praetorians received up to 5,000 denarii. Sestertii During the time of Augustus, Roman soldiers were paid 900 sestertii, which was equivalent to 225 denarii. Aurei The basic gold monetary unit of ancient Rome, worth 25 silver denarii. After the time of Domitian, tribunes were likely paid at least 48 aurei per year
The death of atticus is sad.

Ben Franklin wasn't a president. He did have a crazy turkey throat, though.
I would give my services equally as what salt is to me which is not much
Franklin was not a president
Alternative facts.

Why is the video description saying myth busted when the audio makes it seem like it isn't a myth?

Don't Pin Me
Yeah don't pin this clout.
Hahaaa😅😅😅
Ofcourse bill clinton knows every question about my little pony, hes a child groomer
As if salt is any less ridiculous than being paid with paper? How about numbers on a screen preceded by '$'
Now, I hadn't thought about it in that angle... It's actually very ridiculous...esp with paper 🗞️ and virtual money....
This is also the reason for the phrase, "A man worth his salt."
This is wild...though I have eaten the big butt ant. We bought a packed satchet and they were not bad...
I have seen centipedes in satchets too..even millipedes...if you are strong enough you could try eating them.
Watching again and this was just savage...
Hahahaaaa...This is insanely crazy...I wish it would have been successful to see houw he would have returned 😅
The one about Teddy is quite sad. Losing a loved one and not one, two of them... that's sad.
Very sad indeed...He must have been devastated..
0:33 Only you would say we think of them like pop corn
They are quite crunchy...😅😅..might be good to try as a movie time snack
1:34 I almost jumped seeing that centipede😭😭. I would never eat one even with eyes closed
I'm sorry😔..some brave souls enjoy eating that food.
does this mean that the cockroaches that plagued me once are a dormant business idea???
Get some investors and start a business 😅😅
You could try it....might be a good business 😜
I think if you say that a food serves as an aphrodisiac, it instantly becomes a hit
This insane and crazy. .. I understand eating ants, but centipedes. someone wake me up please.
Losing 2 dear persons on the same day must have been devastating 😢
True. It's very sad
These facts are definitely weird...I need more info on that quiz😂😂
I can share the quiz with you...
Hahaa...😂😂Jumping to impress a married woman is on another level..

Joe Biden is the only president who is mentally unfit to stand trial.
How do you go from he saved 77 people, but bill clinton answered a quiz about mlp 😂😂
haha. let me take it as a compliment.😀😂
He had help from under the desk 😂
Life as a lifeguard is amazing because you work at saving people... saving 77 is a good achievement.
How did Clinton get all those answers right? Was he watching the show???
It's amazing how he got a perfect score😂
Maybe he's a Bronie 🤣
He had a daughter!
His girlfriend watch it.
clickbait title (BS ALERT) furthermore all in the list is nowhere near the level of eating human best soulmate "cat" & best friend "dog".
I think it's unforgivable to eat cats and dogs especially if they are ones pet..
They will eat ANYTHING
At this point, and especially after seeing the things people eat, I'm convinced that everything is edible.

Title : Top 10 Worst Foods Chinese Eat Video: *Gross foods from every region of the world*
😂
Did you like the video?😪
yeah, all east and southeast asian are Chinese 🤣🤣
that cheese was the worst one. that stuff looks like it's 1/3 cheese by weight and rest is just maggots and maggot fecees. WHY? Just, why? and for that matter how did it become popular. If a person came to me and said hey i invented this cheese my thought process would be that this preson has a mental illness and that's not food, it's rotting garbage and i might die if i eat it
Surprisingly, my friend tells me that after being banned, there arose black markets just to sell that cheese, because demand was high. It became something like weed.
@@Historyy_C wow you tube has made me realize that alot of human culture is basically just shared mental illness
I heard about Mountains Oyster before so when my friends from Loas brought them but not fried..I added Ramen noodles,Louisiana hot sauce and the Mountains Oysters and they were a hit...yours very truly Alfonso Cantu USMC
I have eaten the goat ones, I don't know if they count as Mountain oysters, But it was the biggest surprise of my life. They are delicious. I just said that😂
@@Historyy_C cool...yours very truly Alfonso Cantu USMC
Without providing the cultural background and title it’s 🤮 is no appropriate and childish. For instance, some people eat tree and grass, however the background was there nothing to eat when tons of people dying from starvation. Don’t hold a beef humbugger in your hand and judge people holding an insect to eat!
It was meant to be informative. I have eaten quite some bizarre things myself. I appreciate the sentiment especially about looking into the background before judging.
The Chinese will eat a dog turd if it’s done right.
Cool video bro👍 would love for u to come to my country hit me up when or if u consider
It means a lot to receive such a warm welcome. I'll keep that in mind. Where are you from?
So is the “Latin word ‘Sal’” supposed to be Spanish or Portuguese? Or are those basically the same language to you?
it was the Latin word at the time. does it appear in Spanish and Portuguese?
I think back in the medieval times they used to pay with salt back here in poland and for a bag of salt you could buy a house
Hahahaa. I wish that was true to day especially with how beaches have become accessible today
I'm not so trusting that I would trust a chef to prepare the Fugi fish🐠/ puffer fish without any toxins.
Hahahaaa....Same here.Once I know something is toxic, I would never eat it no matter how much someone tried to convince me..

We eat Tarantula here among other insects like termites, crickets and grasshoppers. They are quite delicious raw and when well cooked. You guys should try some of them, maybe with the eyes closed. You will love them.🤩🤩
The only insect I have ever eaten is termites. And once I had a cricket bun...
I eat the insects of the sea, shrimp.
No thank you.
@@caroldriehorst1165 That's a super delicacy😋
Despite the high nutrient density, I think it is wrong to consume blood. Humans are almost entirely herbivorous, evident from their jaws, jaw structures and size of their teeth. Some of the things I have seen people eat in this video are things humans should never taste.
Tarantula and many insects are okay to eat when well cooked. They are quite nutritious.
Considering this, I assume you are a vegetarian.. I'm I right??
We need laws and regulations to stop people from eating some of these things. How do you consume something with wiggling fly maggots in it?
What about those foods that hold cultural significance? Should they also be banned?
It's a traditional customary meal for them...
@@Historyy_C I would not accept that as an excuse to eat that food..
