There is a special place in hell for Marty Bashir, Mike Robinson, Tony Poole, Dick Ayre, Tim Gardam and Steve Hewlett. As for John Birt, he is the king of all scumbags and the picture of abject repugnance. These conspirators will rot for all eternity if there is any justice in this universe.

The REAL Diana took on the "Crown" head on. She was a real English girl .........and eventual Royal. Classy. She had a humbleness about her and subtle humor. To this day. People miss her. They miss her hand that she outreached. :(

She loved him at one time...Infidelity ruins trust....They could have been happy...but it takes two to make a marriage work... like she said in her interview that their was three people in their marriage...one person too many..King Charles time as king will always be tainted...because of what happened with Princess Diana...She might be alive Today..not out dating others.. if they were still a Married couple..He and his Mistress brought on the Divorce...What choice did Diana have but to try to move on and find love & happiness with someone else... .It's good she stood up for herself....Did this interview before she died... She told her side of things with her own voice..in her own words.

Princess Diana was beautiful inside and out. She just had a vision of a good hearted woman that wanted to share her love with society. It's too bad Charles was so blind not to see it and realize that he had a wonderful woman beside him that would of made a beautiful queen. England would of been proud but because of jealousy, greed and adultery it came all down to a horrific ending. Diana just wanted to be loved but her ends were extremely sad. Hopefully through her sons her memory will outshine the rest. RIP beautiful Diana in the arms of the angels.😢

This interview is the moment Diana sealed her fate. The Queen wrote to Charles and ordered him to divorce immediately after. Diana instantly regretted doing it after the high of her “victory” wore off. She told no one, not even her devoted butler Paul Burrell. She made him take the day off so he wouldn’t know, But as soon as he returned he noticed immediately that the furniture had been rearranged and asked her “What have you done?” Of course we’ve learned sincf that Martin Bashir used deception to get her to agree, playing on her paranoia. She even thought her 12-year old son was spying on her with his watch and reporting on her like he was Dick Tracy. Diana was a disturbed woman. I remember vividly watching this interview on television in 1995. I was living in Japan at the time and discussed the broadcast with a Chinese friend. This soap opera was an international event just as her wedding had been. I have yet to watch the final seasons of the Crown but based on the scene, Elizabeth Debicki quite extraordinarily captures Diana better than anyone else I’ve seen play the part. She’s much more delicately boned than Diana was, but she’s got the voice and the mannerisms to an uncanny degree. At the time, two years before her untimely death, my sympathies were with Diana, even though I Couldn’t believe that she was actually appearing on television to say such damning things about the royal family. Viewing this now all these years on, my feelings are much more complex. Diana suffered… But she proved to be a very adept at exploiting that suffering and making others suffer in turn. Under this manufactured vulnerability there was a manipulative and vindictive person who scored points against her husband at the expense of her children and ultimately herself. In her quest to win against Charles any cost, she ended up losing not just her marriage but her life. Charles was wrong, but Diana’s responses did not make her a saint. This was the moment she crossed the line there was no coming back from.

She was such a f****** mess mentally that she threw herself down the stairs while she was pregnant to try to kill herself to get attention. She doesn't deserve to be adored.

Must be so weird for her children to watch this. I wonder what they truly remember about their mother. I wonder if those memories fainted with time and all they have now is clips and videos and shows , and at what point their memories of their mother are real. She was real and for them she wasnt diana, it was their mom.

You know I get that there might have been pressure for Charles to marry Diana and I can see how he just didn’t want and she didn’t want it, but they both kind of fell for their own insecurities and kind of caused them to get married but the way he took out his frustration was so immatureand what he did to her he mentally put her through is going to take a lot to even come close to any type of forgiveness

Elizabeth Debicki absolutely kills this role as Diana. Her acting is superb and she looks just like the princess and has all of Diana's mannerisms to a T. It's eerie how much she looks like her. It spooked me out a few times while watching. She is an excellent actress. I so hope she wins the prime time Emmy award in January. She so deserves it.

Neah. Diana was shy, vulnerable, frank and very expressive, none of which are captured by this actress. She's too confident (which Diana wasn't) and her eyes don't express the sadness, longing and compassion that Diana's expressed. She's very flat. Don't understand the hype around her.

Elizabeth Debicki was spot on as Diana. Dominic West may not look like Charles, but boy is he a great actor. 3:30 is insanely good, the anger he feels is palpable. He handles the really strong emotions so well in The Crown in both seasons 5 and 6.
