This so cool
Que tal funcionan los RvR con transmisión automática? Dicen que son mejores los RvR con transmisión manual...
would be great to have a video showing how to install a backup canera
where is part 2? I want to do this to mine!
Appreciate this… what about showing the rear speaker replacement?
Need more videos with Wolfy!!!
great video guys!
Do you have information on the engine? I have one and I’m trying to figure out where I can find parts in America.
email us at [email protected] . we can help with parts searches
Oh Damm, I think I'm just going to burn my van. I can't do all that without loosing parts
i have one here in the Philippines, I think I have the last one unit, we are having difficulty finding their parts. Can you suggest some autoparts or supply for their available parts?
Can you still get a new motor? Price?
Yes you can. we have some but they're very rare. Email us at [email protected]
@@NomadicVanSunValley I don’t need one currently. But you see so many stories.
How do these handle? Is the shifting sluggish with the auto?
Handle great! not sluggish at all.... really cool little cars
Hey sweet rig!!! Where did you get the rear bumper?? That would be so perfect for ours!!
These edits have me dying laughing in public. Much respect to dealers that put this info out for free. Thank you!
Езжу на такой Delica 15 лет очень хорошая машина! Единственное что убрал АКПП и поставил МКПП! MMC Delica 👍
Happy to own one! I want an intercooler for mine ASAP
no offensive but this sucks! all for the low low price of $30,000!
For the mechanical capability of the van, all of the maintenance completed and it's extensive list of useful items included, you bet someone will see the value here. Maybe you cant see it but someone who's looked at all the overlanding market options that are comparable will know what its really worth. ;)
@@NomadicVanSunValley no it's people like you who have made overlanding ridiculous and only accessible to yuppies pretending to have a soul...
Decked kit for the L400…yes please.
First time I've seen an intercooler on an L300. So Badass! Also, I like the side ladder.
🚙🚐🚌😮❤😊🛹🛴🚲
Hello friend ,come and visit Altay .
My dream van❤
❤❤❤❤❤
what kind of lift is on this sweet delica?
It's lifted 3 inches with blocks under the rear leafsprings, upgraded 22mm torsion bars with 1.5" ballpoint spacers for the front and 32" tires to fill the space.
Did y’all sell this van? I think I see it on eBay rn in Michigan?
No we have not. Sometimes people post fraudulent listings.
bonus points for putting some extra brush pile stripping in between the gap in the two windows to really reduce the draft in the winter time ;)
Awesome tutorial! Just need a homie, a trim tool, a Phillips, soapy water and soapy string, and ya got it!
Visually i prefer the L300 by a long way. Would you say the L400 is better performance and drivability wise?
Yes, the Nomadic tuned l400s are generally better in these metrics.
Thanks for showing this. definitely need to get a set of these soon.
Any time!
i have a 96 delica l300 and am desperate to get that little extra squeeze so i can actually keep up with traffic! i added a boost increase to get to 14 psi but not sure how to go about the fuel end of that tune you just did.... any ideas? i dont wanna blow engine as its kinda old haha
Always keep an eye on engine temps with the l300, but if you boosted it to that level it'll make it run leaner, which with a diesel means LOWER temperatures not higher. So you can do what you did but it won't lead to the power or performance increase you're looking for. Bring it by our shop and we'd be happy to tune it for you. Cheers!
I love this van. We used to have one, a 2.5L turbo diesel 5 speed manual over 20 years ago when I was a child. Classic memories! I hope to get one of these one day and keep it for a long time. I never even knew that upgrades to their fuel economy and engine reliability existed. Beautiful, just beautiful.
Thanks for the video, super helpful and way easier to follow along than photos on the forums. My ‘91 just pushed over 400k kms, hopefully I can keep it going a while longer!
Great video! I've done similar mods to my Hyundai Galloper with the same 2.5 engine. Its a completely different car! Thank you for making quality content on these engines!
5:36 what's that thing on the left side of your dash? I have one too.
Parking pole which has a little green light on the tip
The little black box? GPS antenna.
"Promo SM" 😒
great video, youre good on cam!
Mean van i cant wait im paying one off from a mate
Super educational video. Gonna be taking my L400 on some inclined trails soon and didn't know tips about Low Range etc.
Nice car, but you get tired of road noise and interior rattles
Damn i want one bad now
We can still import directly from Japan for customers, there's some awesome manual one as well! Let us know.
I own 1998 model I'm based in Poland might sale
Great Vid! Thanks nice and straight forward!
What size mattress is that 8 inch?? So stoked, can't wait to cruise back in time with Pancho (yes, I've already got a name for it!)
Thank you.. you are amazing and a blessing… pleasure to learn from you! Thank you! 🙏☮️🚐
Do you have a part number for a non-OEM alternator on a 96 L300 Delica you can recommend? Or a place to get a good OEM one? Had mine go out recently and I’m not having much luck finding a good unit to swap out. Any advice would be much appreciated and thank you for the video!
Sorry for the late reply. for all parts inquiries please buy a coupon nomadicvan.life/partsandswag/6gjepkb4olgz1969tts53c5p6iqk8h-3azkh-ksjy4
@@NomadicVanSunValley All good and wish I had known about the coupon for parts inquiries sooner! Got everything sorted out with the Alternator since mine broke down on the side of the road 7 months ago but been running fine ever since. Always appreciate the videos and will book a call/coupon for further inquiries!
The green RVR showcased in this video is still for sale! Shoot us a line if you're interested
Thanks for the video! Did mine yesterday. For some reason the previous alternator replacement person used a smaller pivot bolt that was super loose and I think caused a lot of tension and alignment issues. Glad to have that finally solved with the proper bolt size. Good time to do your valve cover gasket while you have the seat and everything out.
The pivot point changes from an 6mm diameter bolt to an 8mm diameter bolt sometime between '92 and 93'. The mounting point on the lower front case is known to wallow-out if the nut isn't secure on the pivot point. Make sure you have a lock-washer or some locktite to ensure a solid hold.
Very helpful, thank you. Looking forward to the tuning videos too.
Sounds nice, not too loud
Thanks so much for these videos. I hope to have you guys do some work once I get in over my head with mine. :)
