Not getting married and starting a family until he was about to retire was absolutely the smartest thing any player of his caliber has ever done

I’ve always thought that players who fight during games is ridiculous. They don’t square off at all. Just open handed slaps. What a bunch of weenies!

Sure, the Gundy rant is funny if you're a regard. And sure, it looks like he's standing up for one of his players. But what he's really mad about is that somebody on his staff was leaking information. He doesn't care that a player's or a parent's feelings got hurt. He's angry because Jenni Carlson at the _Oklahoman_ had it right: they were looking at Robinson as a possible replacement for Reid, and people were questioning the reasons behind that decision. Carlson was exploring the curiosity of the public. You notice during that tirade he never once said that Reid was an outstanding QB, which is something you would expect him to say if Reid was an outstanding QB. But pay attention to what Gundy does say about him. He's a good kid, he's respectful, he goes to class, and he doesn't play well on Sunday. Wow. Real high praise, there. Gundy ruined Reid's chances to be an NFL player, for no other reason than to gripe at a sportswriter who was questioning OSU's coaching staff and their decisions. That's what it boils down to. He wasn't standing up for Reid, he was standing up for himself.

Notre Dame doesn’t make the tournament as often as they should but when they do they have some of the most memorable moments in the tourney. The Kentucky game in 2015 was amazing, the tip in against SFA and the steal against Wisconsin the year later, the double overtime game against Rutgers in 2022. This program needs to make the tourney more often it’s good for college basketball

I moved to Los Angeles from MA 9.5 years ago. This was the very first game I watched after moving. I remember not knowing anyone in the city, not really sure about what I was doing, but this game made me feel like I was back home. I’ll never forget watching this game!!! One of my favorites of all time.

I was at work. My friends were watching as I listened on the radio. They gave up after Georgia's TD and turned the TV off. After hearing this play I ran down the hallway to tell them TN had won. They were immensely frustrated that they had missed it.
