Why am i having so much trouble installing these clips on my timbertech edge groove boards?! Im not sinking the clips down super far into the joists or anything, but i am having to mallet every single board into the clips.
Nice video, but nowhere to buy the vertical cable rail kit (AZTIX36VCLP8W) as of of July 2024. Lowes/HD don't even have it in their inventory.
What does this add compared with your older ConcealLoc system?
B and coco in a tv commercial! I want this deck on my side yard off master too, but smaller.
Viewers should note that the guidelines listed here are different for PVC decking compared to composite decking.
The squirrels are gnawing on my expensive azek deck. This never happened with my wood deck for 30 years! I got no satisfaction or recommendations from customer service. In fact the rep said they had never heard of this happening. And there's no solution for repair.
it means this manufacturer is using recycled materials, like food containers, and that's bad because animals can still pick food scents, it's crazy they are able to do that even after all this material are mixed together, always look for virgin materials to avoid that issue! good luck!
Your other video says to use construction adhesive behind the fascia. This video says not to. Which is it? kzread.info/dash/bejne/pWuIrreyksneqto.htmlsi=6aylddqW6Ht1mPxn
What if the post is not plumb? Can you put a shim under one of the hinges?
Surprising they have a beam illustrated without bearing direct load on the post. I thought by now everyone has moved on from that style
How far in from the end and or top should these screws be? I think 3/4 at least from edge?
well im glad i watched this before i laid the rest of my deck lol
normal post don't work for stars you need 43" posts top post is same as deck post.
This method is crap. It takes way to long to install 1 board.
This system sucks! Period
Are facia mounts available
Nice deck.
Awful system
What issues do you have with it and what do you recommend instead?
Wow 😍💕✨️👣 she is very beautiful, great feet
That woman in your commercial is "Smok'n Hot"!
Are you supposed to reply to your own video?!?
If I think it might help my cause....absolutely!!! 😜@@rossshearer7562
We at "Homes and More by Hand" are so honored to have a deck we built featured in this ad.
I love the bee 🐝! So beautiful.
Are level posts available at 42” tall?
Yes, we have 3"x3" level posts available for 36" and 42" heights for our Impression Rail Express Horizontal Cable offering.
Does there need to be any spacing between the facia and the rim joist? If you install the facia board flush with the decking, how do you prevent water from seeping behind the facia board and rotting out the rim joist?
Recommend angle drill guides please.
What about one that sags a bit?
I believe it is weathered teak
It would be lovely to find timberteck plugs to match coconut husk.
Dude realized they were still married. You can see the regret in a split second. 💀
That guy (was me) from 1998 to 2005. Married life…🙄🤦🏻♂️lol. Nowadays divorced/single since 2007. 🙌🏽😆
My install went very well until I tried snapping on the top rail cover. I give up for the day in frustration. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
This is a thin aluminum product. The best way to do stair rail is to install the bottom brackets and then put the rail in place. Mark a line on the low side of the rail where the bracket belongs. Take the rail off, put the bracket .25 inches above your mark. Remove the lower bracket on the down stair side. Now you have the low bracket at the high side and the upper bracket of the down stair side. Put the rail back in, reinstall the lower bracket and install the upper bracket. PITA. Even better, do this before installing the low side post. Best advice - only use Westbury rail systems....so much easier and higher quality.
What kind of dogs are these?
Guy sounds like he's contemplating his life
Real God explane !!
What's the color?
Only way to attach that bracket is to mark and remove post to fasten then put post back in.
Nice video. One thing that might be helpful to add a caption of the particular deck color/Series as it’s a way that many people get ideas for themselves and would love that info. Thx.
Daphne, it appears no one responds to these though it would be nice if they did.
Nice look. The railing top is a bit wavy, something that’s a challenge with composite on top (should be reinforced with a rigid piece underneath it.
What color?
seriously watch this daily
What color is the deck?
wow,....... amazing!!!!
Not a good system i didnt like working with it at all. Many screws spin out on you and dont take well in material so do many dont then what do you do.
did not like working with it especialy star railing screws spin out a lot dont all take well in material.Did not like it.
what is this color?
What is the color?
How much spacing is required from the top of the stair to the bottom of the bottom rail? This dimension is not discussed in the video or in the pdf installation instructions. It only says to mount the bottom rail with pre-drilled holes.
