    I'm glad I read the comments because I thought it was just me. You can easily tell a 3.5 or 4.0 from simply watching counters. At 3.5-4.0 counters are very sloppy or straight up non existent. These guys have AMAZING counters. Hell no are these guys in those ranges lol Carolina pickleball you guys must have a very hard rating system

    What tripods are you using for filming, and any specific app or attachment to get the camera turning like that?

    So it’s actually just an iPhone filmed in landscape and to make it into a short I have to edit the video by panning and zooming in to the spots I want to show. So the camera is stationary and captured everything in widescreen

    I use Corel video studio but I believe it’s a pretty common feature on all editing software

    For once, I'm seeing amateurs on KZread who are not inflating their ratings. If these guys entered a tournament at 3.5 or even 4.0 they'd be sandbagging. Nice playing, guys.

    Well I mean I watched this guy named Colin Johns play with his brother and they were maybe 4.0. You guys are a bit worse hence 3.5....

    I'd say 4.0 to 4.5, clearly way better than 3.5 though probably a few too many errors to be >4.5 I'd say. At least compared to players that level in my area but ratings don't seem to be that consistent across different geographies.

    pickleball rankings are ridiculous. if a 3.5 can beat a 4, then he's not a 3.5.

    They’re trolling with ratings. I just played the guy in all black in 4.5/5.0 tournament. Him and his partner won Gold. But no matter who plays in these videos commenters say the same thing: no way these players are (fill in blanks with rating).

    Actually, I think this is closer to 4.0-4.5 because they all have amazing technique and the guy in the tank top is clearly a very good rec player

    Self-ratings should stop at 4.0, at that point players should get a DUPR.

    The funny thing is, the majority of people who would say that these guys are 3.5s, are probably 3.5 or less who think that from watching a KZread video of these guys play, that they could actually ever compete with them, lol.

    This guys play at either very good 4.0 if not 4.5. Errors and mistakes happen, but the level of their court awareness is what puts them above, well above 3.5

    They are tennis players! Their strokes look good, but they are inconsistent. We call them "the bangers". They are athletic, and they definitely have good footwork. They have potential to play at higher levels when they gain more PB skills. I would rate them 4.0+. The man in the blue is probably 5.0+

    Definitely not 3.5. I would say close to 5.0 is accurate.

    99 times out of 100 everyone on youtube with pickleball videos just overrate or inflate their ratings. So many 3.0 say they are 4.0 and 4.0 say they are 4.5 or even 5.0. It's so refreshing to see someone who actually did the opposite and downgraded their ratings. Haven't seen you guys play, but you guys seem to be more in the 4.0-4.5 range.

    @@CarolinaPickleball Not every shot is a speed up, (black and grey shirt guys) practice third shot drops, paddles up with elbow at 90 degrees, establish your foot work while on the kitchen line, pay attention to wrist action on the opposite side, and treat each point as if you were playing rally scoring.

    These are beautiful dinking, speed-ups and counter drills. You guys are Awesome! Some people think they know everything and make themselves look like a Big shot by giving you guys a lower ratings. Usually the lower level players does that... the upper higher level players give respect and understand the speed and skill level you guys are exhibiting. Keep up the good work.

    I've really been into this sport lately but I'm starting to really not be able to stand the community. All everyone cares about is a stupid rating. Until you actually 1v1 someone on the court, you don't know for sure if they are worse than you.
