I am a housewife & homeschool mom of 4 kids (ranging from ages 11 to 5). I started this channel originally doing vlogs during my daily walks - hence the name "Walks with Holly" But the name stuck, because the world "walk" to me means life. My content, which is travel, cooking, homeschooling, motherhood, and family togetherness, is all things that bring me joy in my daily walk/life. I also love Disney! And every now and then I enjoy doing product reviews on various purchases I've been happy with. I love this opportunity to be creative while learning new skills of video editing. Homeschool Cabinet Tour, like full.
I almost use the same curriculums for my second grader!
Love this cabinet and how you’ve organized! I only wish all of our homeschool stuff would fit in a cabinet! 😂. I working on minimizing though!
We do have additional homeschooling books (stuff we aren’t currently working on) that I keep in our basement storage. The stuff in the cabinet is going to be everything we need for the school year. Thanks so much for your kind message and for watching 🥰
You’ve definitely inspired me to reorganize all of our homeschool supplies!!! I love using clear totes so that I can see what I’ve got stored inside! We currently have a dedicated homeschool/office room, but it is primarily used to keep our supplies. We all enjoy a “change of scenery” 😂and will use different rooms to actually do our work!
Yes! Clear a storage bins are the best! Even in our crawlspace, I prefer clear ones to the ones that are solid color, I always forget what’s inside! Is great that you do have room for your homeschooling setup that you use as well for an office room. There was times in the past I thought about setting up more of a dedicated space for homeschooling. But the kids would always end up just bringing everything to the kitchen anyways! 😄 thanks Shannon 🩷

We’ve been travel schooling and we have just moved to Hawaii so we are travelling less and can be close to our family friends!!! That cabinet looks awesome and like lockers and the rest of the furniture!!! We are looking for a beach style storage system!!! I love stackable clear plastic boxes!!! My older kids love doing their independent work in their bedrooms so they keep their independent work there!!! We love our battery pencil sharpeners!!! We travel with them!!! We put on extra paper in our binders!!! We haven’t got schedules up but I send them to my older kids via email!!!

I definitely don’t agree with a lot of things in here but I do gotta say, the quality in this museum is great! And also interesting how they show like both sides and views but some of the things in here I saw on another video and yeaaaaaah, a bit interesting. The arcade machine in the genesis thing is what I’m talking about.

Do you use the vocabulary words as their weekly spelling words, or do you use a different curriculum for spelling? Thanks so much!
I have not pair the vocabulary workbook with spelling words. But it definitely is a great idea. I have a spelling workbook curriculum (spectrum spelling) that I use for my kids, but it is mostly first - third grade. At least those are the grades that I use them with, and was more regular with spelling test. I considered keeping spelling test regular with my kids from fourth grade and up, but we just never did incorporate it into our homeschool schedule.

I am ridden with anxiety about my upcoming Mohs on my upper forehead, and it is the size of a nickel. I am most worried about the procedure itself. I also have a place on my nose that will most likely need it. Do you feel it at all? The whole process of cutting skin on my face freaks me completely out, and I have lost sleep over this. Do you feel anything? On the one of your nose, is your face on the side of your nose numb? Thanks for any advice or comfort.
I know exactly how you feel, I definitely had a lot of anxiety before both of my surgeries. As far as does it hurt or did I feel pain while they were doing it, not tons because they numbed that area they worked on. I did feel pressure and there was discomfort. However, the numbing stuff they put on I believed kept me from feeling any initial pain that you would get. I do remember right after the surgery was over and the numbing pain wore off and I was feeling pain & pressure that evening, and kept up with taking ibuprofen. But the next day, the pain subsided, I just remember needing a day or two to rest and recover. I do wish you all the best with your upcoming Mohs surgery and that not only will go well, but you will have peace before, during, and after. And trust you will have a speedy and beautiful recovery. ❤️🩹 ☺️

I used to work in a private Christian daycare as a pre-kindergarten teacher and swore my children would never attend daycare. Directors will tell parents almost anything to get their attendance. It's about the money, not about the kids. I quit a few weeks before having my first. 6 years later neither of my girls have been in daycare and we are homeschooling.
I also used to work at a Christian preschool/daycare, before I was married with kids. I enjoyed my job, as I always love working with kids, But I knew that I never wanted to send my own kids to preschool or daycare. So glad that I never had to! I taught them anything they needed to learn in preschool through homeschooling. And we’ve been homeschooling ever since. Thanks for watching 😊🩷

My sister was told a year - took 2 years! when I talked to the ortho I told him this he said yes 2 years for you also. I said is there any chance it could be less. The assistant laughed. That tells you a lot!
I think the orthodontist likes to give their patients hope that it could be a shorter treatment. If your ortho told you two years, hopefully it won’t be longer - but overall if it fixes the problems then I guess it will be worth it. Thanks for watching 😊 I hope you found this helpful. 🩷

I had it almost two weeks ago on head what a ordeal. From mohs surgery my eyes swelled and forehead had squamous it was difficult I did hurt a lot. I get stitches out in Abt 3 days.
No fun at all! I do wish you all the best on your way to recovery 💗 The body has an amazing way of healing beautifully over time. It is the waiting for the healing that is hard.

We recently enjoyed Universal Studios in Florida! What a fun special Mother Daughter trip!!
I definitely want to check out the Universal Studios in Florida with my kids someday! I went to islands of adventure years ago before married with kids. And I do remember it being such a fun place. We’ve been putting off getting my husband’s teeth fixed for years. This video has been so helpful! I think it might help with eating/snacking less.🤔😆 I’m sure it’s such a relief to be done with the inconvenience of doing all of the extra steps with Invisalign!! Good to realize that adult teeth are harder to move and the results may not be as perfect as is pictured.
It is unfortunate about adult teeth being harder to move. But it may be a different case with different adults - so give it a try (for your husband) I recommend. I truly believe it makes a great difference one way or another - it just might take longer than you expect. Thanks Shannon 💜
