Ok there's your expanders. Where's the rings?
Those particular piston seals were U-seals facing opposite each other, so that's all there wa to it :)
I can guarantee you they don't always come out by turn the gland nut for go back by turning the gland nut , I just did my sixth one today and they have all been a pain. Pull them out carefully Lee with visegrips and use visegrips and a good hammer to put them back in with lub and patience
you're not wrong, but who wants to watch a two hour video of us struggling? lol
Just rebuilt 2 of these cylinders and the wire wouldn't move but I had enough to clamp on some vise grips and tap them out with a small hammer
Do you have the part number for the seal kit? I have the same machine/cylinder as in this video (and have learned that they aren't all the same for LB75Bs). Also, in other videos they talked about changing the seals on the piston head, but you say in this video that they aren't replaceable? If I can't find a kit I'll have to look for random seals that fit, and I want to be sure if I should try to take the piston head seals off or not....Thanks!
Hey! If you can measure the rod and piston, I can give you better info on the seals. I believe this one was 40 x 80- is that what yours is? As far as the piston seals- I’m not sure what I said in the video, but it’s the black pieces you can’t replace. You can remove and replace the yellow piston seal in the middle- it’s a two piece piston seal….. let me know if your rod is 40 MM and your piston 80 MM and I should be able to help you out
Good video. I love using my thread gauge. It's a way to impress your friends
God is coming back soon pls all repent of your sins
Do you make custom lines and mail them? I’d love to have one made to skip the adapters
Kinda- there are a lot of it of questions I need to ask to make sure you’re getting the correct threads and everything…..
@@carolinahydraulichose6253 that’s awesome. Can I search y’all on the web or do u have a phone number?
phenomenal video. very informative. good to know that kubotas use bsp
Thank you for watching!!
What do you do if the lockwire breaks inside while spinning it out.
Get something skinny to try and jam under the piece left in it. Then turn it so the wire (hopefully) turns up and out of the groove
@@carolinahydraulichose6253 I'll try. Thanks. It broke before it ever started to move.
Piston seal me u rod seal bhi chadha sakte hai kya
This piston took U Seals, but you’re right that type of seal usually goes in a gland
Is it only with swivel type fittings that you can seal through the cone faces? Is there such a thing as a port connection that seals with the cone faces?
If the port has the swivel on it with the cone, yes, but otherwise it seals with the bonded seal.
Hi few days ago I replaced my hydraulic pump. upon turning on hydraulic tank I notice oil flowing out the quick connector while it was unattached to dump trailer. Is this normal ? I’m also having some Cavitation as my pump is winding both on idle and throttle up.
Oil coming out of the quick coupling when it is not connected is not normal- how much came out? Make sure your tank still has enough oil in it to feed your pump.
@@carolinahydraulichose6253 not a lot but I added 15 gallon since no leaks anywhere and still got this problem
Looks still good to me
lol right?! Couple more years at least 😂😂
@@carolinahydraulichose6253 or at least the new owner lol
hey hi at 00:05-07 that is NOT an FJ (Female JIC). The threads are far too close and the cone is steeper than a 37º angle. It's more likely an FK (Komatsu)
Lol I promise it’s a JIC- it was a #32 though, so maybe that’s why it looked so steep in the video ☺️ There is an “FK” in there at 45 ish seconds- the 30 degree flare. Thank you for watching!!!
Thank You 🙏 😊😊😊 Easy job
I’ve even heated them to free up the wire and let them soak in diesel several days before I could finally get it out Hate these types the most
It is a pretty terrible design! Letting them soak is always a good idea!!
How does the groove become damaged?
Great question! This was off of a brand new machine, so I think the person who installed the hose over tightened it and squished the groove
Y'all made it look easy I used a chain and connected it to the 2 bolts and washers and used the power of the ram to remove it..mine was being a puto!!
Lmao where there’s a will there’s a way!!
@@carolinahydraulichose6253 yep tht and my old ass uncle HAD TOO help!🤦
Problems getting good engagement with a "phillips" head screw on your Nissan? Go buy a proper JIS screwdriver.
Yes! Just had some guy telling me about those the other day!! He said a Phillips will strip it out the JIS Ones. So annoying!
THEY HAVE TWO THREADS 🤯
It’s SO crazy 🫠
No video
Thanks for Posting. I have to rebuild the cylinders on my Weaver AFH-70-A and had no idea how the wire was removed. It's a silly design.....
It’s a terrible design! When you put the wire back in, pack the groove with some silicone to stop water from going in and rust from building up 😀
Good idea
what’s a quad ring?
So glad you asked!! It’s a rubber ring that is square instead of round, like an o ring is
No
Yes
Donde se pueden comprar
Hopefully you have a local hydraulic shop that can sell them to you- and if not maybe Amazon?
@@carolinahydraulichose6253 gracias
Hola buen dia
They’ll fit, if you use the right tool! 🔨 😂
😂😂😂
Can bspp fitting with bspt??
No, unfortunately
@@carolinahydraulichose6253 tq fr yr answer
🙂 Promo-SM
I’ve got a Massey cylinder with the same ring set up. Got it off but can’t get back on matter what I try. Might leave it off
Let me know if it works! I’ve always wondered…..
It’s working with the in cab controls. If you use the the fender controls it lifts too high and leaks. Be better if it was on.
@@chrisandmonicazantingh990 thanks for letting me know!!
Crazzy
You can remove the damaged areas carefully with a file don’t hit that nose cone angle at all and there will be enough good threads left for it to function
I had a new one in stock so I sold it to him 🙃😉
Thanks for the video. It was a great help.
Glad to hear it!
Love this song 💓🎸🎸🎸
WTF lmao, fukin fittings are $20 at your local Napa.
Right?! Those fittings were SUPER old, though, so it lasted 🤷🏻♀️
Wow
Wow
Crazzy ngl
No the saying Cross threaded is better than loctite! Lmao.
Lmao that’s one I’ve never heard, but will be using often 🤣🤣🤣
What's the difference between "RP" and "RS" metric parallel threads?
I’ve heard of DIN L and DIN S is that what you’re talking about?
@@carolinahydraulichose6253 had a supplier ask me and was trying to understand. RP is metal to metal seal, RS utilizes a washer to seal.
Which way does the bevel go on the seal?
Down- you want the oil to hit the lip first
You don't need to pull with pliers. Just turn the gland and the ring will come out without breaking.
Not this one 😆 It was Frozen in there and needed some extra help 🤷🏻♀️
Rusty wire is hell to get out some time
Great video, appreciate the help, that was perfect
Glad to hear it!!
I’ve actually never found one that’s clogged
You’re lucky!!
That bloody thumb nail😂😂😂
Don’t hate!! 🤪
And that's for when you can't assume anything. ask what part is
It’s a grease fitting for - in this case- the pin on a hydraulic cylinder 😆
@@carolinahydraulichose6253 yes I know talking about other people.work on cars for years
Hey, complete instructional video by New Age Industry INC. The rest of the story
Thanks- I get it now 🤦🏻♀️ I didn’t understand the question 😊 Good luck!
Hey, great job on female attachment instructions. I didn't know to heat hose to ease installation. So thank you. My kit has a nipple or male attachment that goes on the water pump or another hose to be able to use the quick connect kit. Now i have to screw intake and discharge hoses on each time i set up my portable water pump. With seventy year old hands it's now difficult and time consuming. So a complete video would be great. Thanks for responding.
What about the other halt?
The other half?
Do you mean the other end of the hose?
I don't know why he started chiseling the snap ring while it was still cherry red. It's going to lay back down...
