  so basically, this franchise never did that well on the west despite the popularity in japan, so they made the choice to set the third game on america because it would "supposedly" make it sell better globally, but what actually happened was that the fans in japan didn't like it, it sold poorly, and then when it came to actually selling the third game outside of japan, there were just so few copies made and sold that nowadays its one of the rarest 3ds games ever. in conclusion: - unsuccessful world wide - yearly releases that gave the fans burnout - POKEMON SUN AND MOON RELEASING IN THE SAME DAYS AS YKW3 so that's what made the popularity go down a lot, but the franchise is still alive, alive and trying to regain the popularity it had

  Jet Set Radio is no way shape forgotten. Its talked about alllll the time online, is ported on like every single console nearly and has had multiple spiritual successor type games and is literally getting a new official game next year. Ridiculous clickbait title

  That may be, but it still took over 20 years to make a new entry in the series. It was basically forgotten about by SEGA because aside from cameos in other games and the 2012 port (which is only available on Steam at this point) they have done almost nothing for the series over the past 22 years

  Should I be afraid to go back and play my old games with dying internal batteries? Is that what happened to your cartridge? I may not have touched my game boy in years, but it is still sad to think that it is no longer an option and all I have left of those great memories is a brick with some smaller bricks that plug into it.

  It depends. I’m actually using an emulator (for legal reasons, I’m not) But from what I remember, the internal battery doesn’t entirely brick the game. It usually just means time based events will no longer occur. But when you replace that battery, it does end up messing up the file. But to add salt on the wound, I had just left New Bark Town to get to Elite 4. 😢

  Unfortunately not. You have blue gloves at the start and once you’ve beaten the champion, you can get the silver gloves by holding 1. And technically, you can also have red gloves if you’re player 2 in a two player match.
