    Please could you show how to put the replacement battery wand (that you have shown) into An Older power rise blind. It is replacing my old wand that no longer works and they don’t make it anymore. I received the parts for this from Hunter Douglas but I can’t figure out how to connect them To my head rail. Thanks.

    EXCELLENT VIDEO. Extremely useful video with attention to details. Until finding this video I had been very frustrated trying to reprogram my shades. Other videos failed to mention that depressing the manual control for too long could begin a limit programming sequence. After spending over an hour of trying to program 4 shades using instructions from other videos, I found this one and programmed all 4 in less than two minutes! Thanks so much!

    BAD TUTORIAL. Moves way too fast. Slow her down. Im trying to figure out what button to push but he is already gone two steps ahead. Camera could highlight the exact location of button needed to be pushed. This is a POOR demo.

    A decent showing. You can see there's a drop for the loading dock. If this is a pedestrian safety measure meant to hold back someone noticing the drop too late to react and catch them, I'd say it's a good test.

    After loading 3 sets of new batteries in my battery packs on my shades and remotes, I found your video. Fixed both my bedroom shades in 5 minutes. THANK You! Saved me the 200.00 PLUS dollars I spent last time on my living room shades.

    Thanks, it worked. The remote will continue to blink for a minute or so after programming. Just let it sit and it will go back to normal.

    The instructions are way to fast and are terrible. Tried several times with no success. Why do you not have trouble shooting list or someone to call.

    This video was very helpful. One thing I would add is that after programming the remote, make sure that you change the channel on the remote to whichever channel you programmed the blind. I programmed mine to channel 1, and it wasn't working till I realized the remote was on channels 2 and 5. You click on the number buttons to turn off the other channels and to turn on the one you need.

    Excellent! Never knew this. My problem is the pins at each end of the slat. Replacement spring loaded ones are much bigger in the slat and the frame. These wont fit and I cant find the smaller ones. The angle prevents redrilling the holes. Any source for the smaller ones?

    Do you have any advice on how to get the cover open when it doesn't rotate with a quarter? I have opened several covers that I have at home and they open just fine, but I have one that seems to be stuck somehow and I can't figure out how. Any advice would be much appreciated!

  • @Stabu
    @Stabu2 жыл бұрын

    @@katherinewagner8506 I had several of these remotes and learned that sometimes you have to use a combination of a coin, a small battery (similar to what's in there), and a very big flathead screw driver. Mostly these lids come open easily, but if the lid is slightly off its rails or it's somehow otherwise stuck they're really hard to open. It helps to apply a lot more down pressure than sidewise torque. I also remember that once I got the lid slightly moving, I had to use a very small flathead screwdriver to pop the lid up. It was a mess. Best of luck!
