  Awesome I have a sweet paint job in mind for a charger.......it's still a race car paint job but not general lee........I have painted this car in so many ways on a video game that I have found the best one for it.......the wide body would be the one for it.......still Awesome ...... take care my friend

  This is fantastic, I hope that one day Traxxas will do this in 1/18 scale on the trx4m chassis to go with the Chevy K5 and the Ford F150

  No, I used a cheap blue spray paint. It's actually a bit too dark.

  I see what you mean. MPC did not do a good job and engineering this kit. I hate that they just label slapped a nascar kit into the general lee. Them tires are oversized big time, and missing the back seat. To pay that much money for that kit, they should have done a better job. I have one of these and going by your build, I’ll have to do a lot of scratch building parts and accurizing the roll bars, etc

  I had them as a kid,. My dad painted the skiers,. When we had snow, I went outside and played with them.

  Did you paint on them directly or you gave them a primer coat and then painted them ?

  I first washed them well, then simply painted them, and finally applied a matte transparent paint layer over them.

  You must have used enamel paint. Arylic won’t stick unless you have primer coat on the figures.

  I am converting one at the moment and found that Magnum Sharpie markers are the perfect size for the fuel tanks, they too are 27mm diameter and you can cut them to any length you want.

  Aoshima also made Mini-Z radio control KITT and KARR in 1:28 scale which work better with this kit (I've got the truck and both cars). The truck is disappointing, the two cars are a bit better and even have working scanner lights. I agree with you, better to get a 1:24 or 1:25 GMC kit and morph it into the FLAGG truck.

  hey, in those trucks the fuel tank was often located under the cab and those "things" attached to the bumper are clearance markers which help the driver indicate the trucks dimensions. hope i could help ya
