You can fly my plane anytime
most planes turn right before malia towards chersonissos. We've been doing it for years, the first time was in 1990 and even now, when they were still armed at the reception hall. Back then we still paid drag fees, food and drinks were dirt cheap, and you made calls from a telephone booth. You had a great time exchanging money with Eurochecks. Now Crete has become a tourist attraction and the Heraklion airport is outdated and that is why a new one is being built near Kastelli

I have a question how many controls do you remember at any given time and does your co-pilot sure have for those controls so that you can do other important things
I don't trust female pilots as much as male. I have flown 40 years small and big planes. Many female pilots, I knew, were not very capable. Also if you look eg. pranks, females usually startles and screams...male not. They get panic easier than male, so they maybe don’t handle emergency situations as well as male. In simulator checks, which are demanding, its not very uncommon that females start to cry. Sometimes instructors have to turn a little bit blind eye for that. Those situations of course are not here in youtube. I've seen two female airline pilots, to whom Cessna 185 was too demanding and they didn't get typerating for it. Its fashion to anneal great female roll model pilots. Fuss with this female issue has gone over-the-top these days. It is nice, but the fact unfortunately is, that in average men are little bit more capable pilots than females. That's only natural/fact in the earth(like in average men are stronger than females). Of course some of the females can be and are good pilots, but no so often than male. Somebody now get mad, but I don't care..whole human life is short fuss period here in earth(and soon we are gone). What we/people think and speak do not have big deal for anything anyway.

Is a white shirt and black tie always compulsory for pilots?
The airline provides pilots with a uniform which includes a shirt, tie, jacket and trousers. They need to wear the uniform on duty. The color of the tie can vary depending on the airline, and some airlines may give an option for female pilots to wear a scarf instead of a tie, but this depends completely on the airline.

My dream was to be a pilot but when I fly my ears bleed and I get severe pains in my head like nothing ever experienced. So that dream was shattered. However thanks to technology I can now enjoy stuff like this! Thanks
My memories of Crete are all from 50 years ago. I was in army air Defense stationed in Germany and periodically a missile battery would go down to the NATO base at Hania and practice firing a missile I did have some spare time there and my memories? I wanted to see Knossos and the only way I could do it was to take this little 20 passenger bus all the way around the island. And, Dutch pilot girl, you are too young to remember the eight track tape. It was continuous play meaning when it was at the end of the tape it started over again. And I remember the bus driver had this one tape in for seemingly two or three hours and I remember this Greek mandolin going over and over again probably 50 complete cycles Sort of like Chinese water torture or death by 1000 cuts Amazing how little we really know about the Minoans Other memories? Well you may find this one a bit gross but I do remember it after 50 years There was - and maybe still is - a NATO recreational beach at Hania I remembered jumping in that beautiful dark blue water and having a relaxing time when I saw a bit of toilet paper floating by me That ended my relaxing swim Too bad I can't post pictures cause I have some good slides Other things I remember? How the whole town went dead from about noon till two in the afternoon The sky is so clear at night it seemed like you could see millions of stars and it just be in awe Well I am enjoying your videos, travel log, and explanations of your 737 plane operation I'll have to go back to Europe again
Thanks for the nice video and the little pop-ups explaining some of the controls and instruments. I always wondered how the tiller worked as the only flying I did years ago you steered with the Rudders Did not realize that in many planes only the left seat has the tiller. If the pilot were incapacitated the first officer would be in a bit of trouble once one made the landing Thanks again.
