I don't think its 2 stacked coins. If you look when Peel picks up the forceps, he keeps his right hand closed; switches the forceps to his left hand, right hand is still closed. Then his right hand goes behind Lau as he passes Lau the forceps with his left hand. When Peel's right hand comes back into shot, it is now open, and Lau's left hand is closed. That is how Peel got the coin to Lau. Either way, still a good video and a much deserved trophy.

When Penn and Teller do their magic bullet trick, Penn (the shooter) explicitly makes a point of not approaching Teller (the shootee) in any way until the trick is completely finished. With Peel and Lau, the shooter shoots, then physically hands the shootee a tool with which to extract the coin (5:35). This seriously weakens the trick, perhaps completely unnecessarily.

SPOILERS: 2:25 - Reveals there are two coins. 2:27 - He blows on the coins and hands off the signature side, sliding the smiley face side down into his palm, where it stays. 2:38 - Notice it's the Signature side facing out clamped, and the smiley face is never revealed. Potentially, the other side had their own smiley face drawn in case Brooke saw the back side for a moment. 3:50 - Inserting the palmed coin into his nose. 4:36 - Still only showing the signed side. 4:56 - Hands go together, transferring coin from slingshot to his right hand. Ballsy move tbh, because he's actively talking so the eyes would be on him. 5:16 - set your speed to 0.25x. You can see the glass breaking without any projectile going through. The glass break is triggered mechanically somehow. 5:34 - Peel's right hand is holding the coin, as he hands off the clamps with his left hand, he hands the coin to Lau with this right hand. 5:51 - Coin comes out of the nose smiley face first. The signature is not revealed. 5:54 - Sets the coin perfectly in his palm, smiley face side up, joining the coins back together. 6:03 - Interestingly, the signed side looks wet, while the smiley side looks dry. You'd think it would be the opposite based on our theory. I wonder if they had some method of sliming up the signed coin in case the smiley side was snotted up, but it wasn't as snotty as they anticipated. 8:32 - Wow, he went fishing in his pocket for a while. He had to figure out how to get the coins back together in the right orientation in his pocket. Great improvisation here to make it work. 8:41 - Clear view of two separate coins. One thing I wonder is if Penn and Teller got "fooled" because the trick is actually so similar to their own, which is one of the few tricks they protect, that giving a fake guess keeps their trick safe. Because I think P&T's bullet is very similar to the two coins (the projectile and casing come apart).

you can clearly see its two coins at the end at 8:42 , and how they get worried when he has to take it out of his pocket to show the coin to Brooke, what I dont understand is, how did he get both coins out of his pocket facing the right way? 50/50 for 1 coin, but for both coins to be on the side they wanted, would be a 12.5% probability, so he had to somehow do it on purpose and I dont know how

The actual magic trick was at the end, where Lau had to take two coins out of his pocket while making it look like one. The last close-up of the shot, you can see the second coin. Lau also only grabs the last "coin" on the sides, to keep them aligned and the back coin hidden.

Don't get me wrong the trick is nice and I get that there isn't any real or significant danger outside of snorting a coin any anything that might go wrong with that but I really really hate the implication in the intro that Penn and Teller would actually enjoy a trick that had an actual degree of danger in it.

How did they get fooled by this? Not a magician, so I can spoil it: - they got her to draw on two different coins. - he used slide of hand to show the sides of the two different coins, then he handed the one two the other guy and hid the other one - When he blew up the baloon, he stuffed the one coin up his nose. - The sling shot coin was replaced by something that disintegrates when it hits the glass - when the other guy walks over to him he hands over the second coin and the first guy again uses the slide of hand to show the two different coins. The tell is the way he turns the coins around when he shows the two sides of them. Also if you zoom in when she review the coins, you can clearly see he is holding two coins, not one!
