I have a whole back pack of wacky packs still in the bags
I still have one excellent condition deetail german ww2 soldier throwing a stick grenade with the decal on the helmet still. Also the daimler british armored scout car. I had the german motorcycle with sidecar and British quad gun tractor 4x4 truck with gun and limber, but those and all my marx plastic soldiers went to my son....when he went into the military, his mom,my now ex, cleaned his room and everything went into the dumpster
You had some of the good ones. The nice thing about Deetail figures is that they last and are still available at reasonable prices. Check out that online auction site, you can get them all back!
Rubbing alcohol will remove those markers
I have almost all the happy family dolls! Still hunting for the playsets & volvo
Stupende😊
Where’s the best place to sell a large vintage lunchbox collection? Through eBay or Live auctions or private auction house?
Which ones were your favorite?
A gentle washing with worm, soapy water would soon bring those legionaries looking as good as new. I used an old toothebush and hand soap, followed by a light spray of WD-40, to clean and polish mine.
How much do these sell for? I have the same Charlie’s angel lunchbox! That’s awesome !!
Nice video , I have all 5 of the figures and extras. Major Matt was my Fav in the late 60's. Joe coming in a close 2nd.
JOHN FREAKIN' SAXON!!!
This magazine was such a huge part of my childhood!
On the _Land of the Giants_ lunchbox, the large “giant” face seen is actually that of Elmer Lenhardt, the artist who illustrated many of the Aladdin boxes.
Really? I never knew that. Thanks for that info.
Does anyone have parts to exchange? Gulliver Wester (Atlantic style)
I''ve been collecting the "Dome--Top" boxes . Consider them Rarer than the standard square boxes.
Over the years i tried to describe or see if men mu age remembered these toys. Finally I found evidence of them. I forgot the name Johnny West so it was hard to make a search.
1965? No no no. I had 3 of these figures in 1975 brand New as a kid
Not a single black or brown Barbie
It’s amazing that I find that I do have a lot of the dolls that she has. However, I have taken mine out of the box so I can thoroughly enjoy them some I have even put on made to move bodies. I feel like sometimes people forget that the dolls are meant to be played with and enjoyed. Never mind you the very expensive ones like the Byron Lars dolls I have left in the boxes in there for display only.
Great interview, met Ken at the Xmas 2023 London toy soldier show,WBritians have some great new soldiers for sale at present.Ken is a great guy and very passionate about the hobby.
Agree, he has been very friendly and helpful to us over the years!
Can you guess which Vintage Metal Disney Lunch Boxes I'm missing?
I gotta 1971 50th anniversary edition Malibu Barbie forsale
Still collecting?
Oh, I want the foreign legion and the arabs!!!!
They are excellent figures. A company called DSG owns the molds now and still produces them. You can find them on ebay. Good luck!
I've never heard of these things before, except for the Netflix documentary. Was it for children or adults? My son collected Kinder Surprise eggs and I collected the frog collection. It was a fun time. I don't know if these PEZ things were sold in Germany
First they were for adults and then for kids. Just a fun candy dispenser. I son;t know if they were ever in Germany
Just gonna gloss over that Bambi is clearly the dear behind Snow White on her box art. 😂
Nice catch. I noticed that too. Also thought the bunnies had a little Thumper look to them also.
During the 1970s, in the Fort Wayne are, we had Shock Theatre, on WPTA TV. It was hosted by a guy who called himself "Asmodius." I used to stay up every Saturday night to watch. Ah, the memories...
I liked them best when the tire wall was thick-I hate that thin tire look they’ve had for many years now
Actually Jonathan Livingston Seagull was also a movie featuring music from a very young Neil Diamond including an incredible song called "Be"! kzread.info/dash/bejne/lamemLKYY5jcgag.htmlsi=DbjfPs5_bj3PZNlE
Just subbed!
Thank you! Regarding the Texas Toy Soldier Show, apparently they did not hold one for this year.
I mostly had Napoleonic era figures. I only had a couple of dozen but half were cavalry - and all different. I rarely see the Napoleonic Cavalry figures anywhere (I think I still have them in a shoe box in my crawl space).
The Napoleonic are the most popular and sought after of the line. The standing always sell and the mounted are even rarer. I hope you still have them. Thanks for watching.
@@collectorguys Good to know. Thanks.
*OMG* *BEST YET* *CATER*
Great video, i have that same 1967 Rat Patrol lunchbox. I don't think in these PC days they would make scenes of people getting blown up on kids lunchboxes. Too bad they didn't make a Combat lunchbox with Sgt. Saunders and Lt. Hanley, another popular 60s TV show.
Happy to see a new vid~ Always interesting to hear about the lunchboxes
Awesome collection!! I loved seeing all the different Barbie, Ken and friends. Barbie dolls are the most beautiful dolls ever made in my opinion. I am just now getting into collecting some of them. They are a work of art. ❤❤❤
Nice! That packaged set you have looks great. I have quite a few Britains figures from different ranges but I don't have any of the Japanese, yet....
They are a fun set for sure. Thanks!
that haunted haunt doll is worth a fortune. i so want a replica.
You have an exquisite collection! Very beautiful
The one thing I struggle to understand is Lego train pricing in 2024. If it really goes beyond $200 usd in the next 4 years when a new cargo train comes out, I may be better off switching to Lionel. All the youtube reviewers and adults constantly remind the community Lego is still designed and advertising as a toy. But it's entering adult professional hobby pricing.
Can't argue that it has become expensive. Definitely beyond toy prices
Is there a 2024 show?
Were not sure yet. This show has a very small staff and last year it took a while for the info to come out.
The Silkstone Barbie dolls are gorgeous! I enjoy collecting them. 💕
I HAVE ABOUT 60 OR SO ISSUES, STILL COLLECT WHEN MONEY IS RIGHT.!!! JAMES EAGLE.
My mom always waited till the last minute to take us to buy lunch boxes. So, all the cool ones were usually gone. But I remember being really pleased when I was able to get that Gunsmoke lunchbox, some time in the early 1970s. The next year, or so, I had to settle for the Hee-Haw lunchbox. I got teased for that one a bit. But I proudly defended it. Even though I had wanted something cooler. In the third or fourth grade, it became cool to brown-bag it. So, lunchboxes were no longer part of my life. Though I must admit, I'd occasionally see them in the store, and wished I could still use them.
I saw a silkstone Barbie online forsale from a sick lady selling her dolls to pay her medical expenses. I bought it as its pretty and a kindness. When it arrived to New Zealand the knee joint broke fell off. I told the lady and she said she'd refund me. I said no. Use the money. Ill customise her into Wondergirl. So I glued the leg at he knee and made this version... Silkstone are very heavy barbies. I know little about exactly what Silkstone is?
I'm fascinated with Silkstone. I have 1.
Vintage colored Pyrex has been found to react to lead testing. That means the existence of lead. Just be aware. Display worthy!!! Just be careful using.
A+❤!
Thank you sir. Deetail British WWII Infantry video in the works!
I always wanted to visit the Ackermansion. I lived in New York and that was a long way from California. I got in trouble for a paperback I ordered from the back of the magazine. My folks made me give away my collection. In a funny turn of events. years later after I moved to California. Folks worked as movie extras. My Dad auditioned for a mad scientist role for Forrie, he did not get the part but I got a signed Anniversary Edition,.
I love the silkstone I have started my collection and I'm totally in love with them
Would have loved to have seen Britains deetail make a Six piece Russian soldier line, ive collected them all back ofer the years, loved the Britains deetail line, great vid...
Thank you! They have said they are looking at making new sets, WWII Russians would be high on most collectors lists, but I wonder if recent conflicts make that less likely. I saw their Production Manager recently and suggested that it would be easy to release the current German Infantry in winter white. Another great addition would be Zulus and British Infantry from that conflict. Thanks for watching.
