A 1963 is absolutely on my list! Quite honestly, I see very little in fakes on AliExpress, maybe, because I do not go for watches under 20 bucks in quartz or under about 40 with an NH35A. I have seen a few "Grand Seiko" branded "originals" for 15 bucks (I mean, come on, I can save 10K, seriously?), but that is actually really rare! Over all, my trust factor for AliExpress homages is on the high side, and I have 2 of them, a 70's tonneau W10 Hamilton/CWC homage and a sort of Hamilton Khaki in 39mm with a W10 dial, but that is just about its own original field/pilot watch. Both are excellent time keepers with their TMI(Seiko) NH35A calibres!

That's just a double layer nylon watch band. You lose the nato strap security.
Perhaps you are unfamiliar with a Slow watch...have been around for 10+ years...1/3rd the price of these and look a lot better.
Thanks for weighing in with your comment. I simply enjoy making content with independent brand watches and show casing them in my content. If I gave the impression that it was the first of its kind or a cheaper option that wasn’t my goal As far as those things are concerned including an objective appeal to the watch. I was looking at this for wearing while on holiday, as it seems like the ideal watch for that kind of situation: no stress, just chill.
I definitely think that would be ideal. For me it’s a lazy laid back Sunday mechanical art 🤓
The holes are not reinforced though there is still 2 layers of material. This is only beneficial if a watch has non removable bars. A durable 2 piece nylon strap with reinforced holes would be much better. This is only a longer one piece strap that wraps around so this is not anything special.

It's a bit of a gimmick because it removes the function of a single-pass strap, which is extra security.
So it adds all the extra bulk of the NATO strap, but offers none of the redundant safety of it?
Do you have any tourbillon watches to review? I'd love to see you review the Sugess Aventurine Tourbillon specifically, but of course its just a suggestion and you should review whatever you want.

@@Skyler.Santana Dear god no. Mine has long gone disintegrated lol. I'm soon 50. But I guess they died out and was not as popular as other straps. The one I had looped all the way and had the strap connection on the end, so it was smooth all along the sides. Didn't have to have connections on the outer sides. Had a tightening solution like you have on backpack straps, where the material just folded into it. If you know what I mean. Sorry my english is not that great.

Yeah I don’t know if this solves any real problem. The purpose of a nato strap is for extra security. At this point just buy a canvas strap. Good review though!

Makes absolutely zero sense! Why would I take this over a two piece strap which looks way neater and elegant if this doesn't do the job of a pass through strap? The weird looks of a nato without any of the benefits...

I don’t think it was designed to save the watch for a failure of the spring bar so I’m not sure it qualifies for pass or fail on watch saving. But I appreciate you sharing your opinion.

Having a NATO for me is mainly the security that is the watch is hit and a sprinbar is broken, the watch won’t fall. Having the double textile, the bulky end but not having that security to gain those mm in thickness: there are lots of textile straps out there with no double thickness in all strap neither the end tail loop

Yes it does !!! the whole point of a Nato is that you don't lose your watch if a spring bar fails.

Yes it does thats why it isn’t called a nato. Most people don’t require the fail safe function and mostly wear it for the look so the zero pass offers the look without adding thickness.
Isn’t that still a single pass through on the back of the watch no? Effectively making it thicker to wear on wrist
@@Skyler.Santana this still makes no sense given how thick the rest of the strap is and the extra strap around the wrist. Surely you just just a two piece canvas strap and you get a much better look?

I have the triple black and I love it. Max has a great invention here. The bulkyness is what keeps me from wearing natos. This is definitely a game changer. I can't wait for the new ones for fixed bars to come out. I want some for my Bertucci. Excellent video Skyler. See you on the Crunch.
