  That’s average to low for these builds here in San Diego. I’m having one built now about this size that’s going to end up over 300. Average home price is over a million so it all tracks.

  I am in an early stage of ADU research. I have many questions. I currently have room for adu and wanted to understand how big of an adu i should build/how much space I really have to spare for adu. This adu mostly be for rental. I dont know what question are important to ask. Can tell me where to start?

  Definitely needs a screen door in the front. You have the door wide open during the video- perfect for a ton of bugs to come in ! But other than that. I love it ! Wish I could live in California but my little postal income wouldn’t allow it and some people think I make good money. Lol.

  All exterior walls are 2x4 with the exception of the bathroom wall that it's a 2x6 plumbing wall, so kinda correct, haha.

  Hola, creo que te refieres a lo que nosotros conocemos como bota- agua (drip edge flashing) y lo utilizamos principalmente cuando no hay una pared de stucco, porque suelen ser de pura madera y hay más orificios donde se puede meter / filtrar el agua. Pero en este caso, tenemos una pared de cemento que protege más y debajo de esta, el papel impermeabilizante. Subiremos un video de otro proyecto donde sí lo utilizamos y para mostrarlo y dar una explicación. Espero que esto resuelva tu duda, buen día!

  Nosotros la solemos comprar en Home Depot, pero seguramente la puedes encontrar en distintos lugares. Las medidas son estas: 2 ¼" x 8' 1/8". Incluso hemos visto en Amazon, solo que es otro material pero es para lo mismo, puedes buscarlo como 'template material'. Espero que te sirva esta información, buen día!

  Nice work. Do you schedule the inspection ahead of time? Knowing that your guys will be finishing within a day or two. So that way, you're not waiting 1 week for the inspection?

  Hello! Thank you for your comment and Yes. In the county we are working in, the inspection dates are not that far apart except for holidays (like the ones we just went through). We can usually schedule an appointment for the next day or the day after, so that's what we usually do. There are seasons where it can be saturated, so it must be considered in the planning and scheduled, because that can delay other phases of construction. We recommend that you check your city's development services timeframes before starting your project to get an idea of how far in advance you should schedule an inspection.
