Great video Thank you
Just stopped by to say I love your shirt! 😄 I’m adding this to my home improvement playlist for when my husband is too busy to help me with my honey-do list. So, instead my list will be “Honey I can do it myself” 😊
LOVE IT!!! Thanks for watching and welcome to the community!
Will drywall anchors work in the garage without anchoring to wall studs for a heavy duty hose reel and pressure washer hose? Combined weight is roughly 70lbs, but will be pulled on as needed for various lengths needed when detailing cars.
I personally would not use wall anchors for this. I would mount another board into the studs and then mount the pressure washer to that board. 👍🏼
So you want to use a whole bag of concrete per hole?
@@amandazinkon9048 It depends on the size of the hole. You may need less, you may need more to bring the concrete level to the top of the hole. 👍🏼

I’m with you on the Simple Green smell. I’m sure others liked it, but after cleaning with it regularly during a summer job in College, I get flashbacks anytime I catch a whiff of Simple Green. Great cleaner though, and reasonably safe too.
💯!! It’s great stuff if you can keep your nose pinned shut. 🤣🤣

How long after you put the glue and screw until you can drill into it?

🧐informative video. I bought the 3M claws to quickly & easily hang a large piece of art. Wondering if they will hold over time with the heavy weight
Great question! I have not used mine for a prolonged amount of time, but so far (a year or so) they've held perfectly.
great video! What materials is he using for the posts to stay in place in the holes? I saw him pour some powder and liquids in there, but I didn’t catch what they are and how to use them

I'm trying to hang a floating wood shelf onto the wall, using plastic anchors in drywall. The wood screws will first go through the shelf and into the anchors. I'm having trouble "finding" the anchors with the screws, because i can't see through the wood and i can't see between the shelf and the wall. I'm having a dickens of a time. Any helpful hints to line up without being able to see where the screws are going?
The problem is that my frame is pvc...
Ugh... I'm not a fan of the PVC frames. I have never had to relocate a strike plate on these frames, unfortunately.
I’ve been saying it for years. you either learn how to do it; or pay someone else to do it
Thanks for the compliment, I think… 🤣🤣

Thank you for your quick reply. I've seen the 2 X 4 holders are different. The Bora holders can hold 2 by's vertically and flat. The Original Centipede's holders don't hold 2 by's vertical tightly.
@@johnverkler3962 Hmmm… that’s interesting
Does it work through concrete walls?
@@ADK208 No. it’s made for drywall.

@@misodinamosa You are very welcome!
I have a question. I bought the original Centipede system, and it's NOT the Bora version. Will these folding panels be compatible with the pre-Bora system?
@@johnverkler3962 This is a great question and I’m not certain. I wish I had one to test with.
Thank you for this video! Sounds like I'll be going with Simple Green 😁

As a diy weekend warrior….. What drawer systems on wheels does everyone think is best to use as a tool box for brakes and oil changes, wrenches etc. Cheaper the better. These drawers look thick where most tool boxes are thin for mechanics. Any ideas. Thx
It's definitely not that easy almost impossible to remove the previous water filter because of the pressure build up not sure what to do
Sometimes mine is tough to remove for that exact reason. There is a delicate balance between putting enough pressure on it to remove it and risking breaking the housing where it attaches.
You've got cardboard under your bark mulch. I can tell by what happens when you pull out a weed or grass. The whole cardboard comes up with it. Why not be straightforward with your audience and tell them that there is cardboard under the loose mulch?
Thanks for taking the time to watch this video and also write out your comment. I truly appreciate it. Regarding your comment, I'm honestly not sure what you mean. I have never (in my entire life) put cardboard down in a flower bed under mulch. The only place where I use cardboard is in the bottom of a raised vegetable garden bed to kill the grass. Otherwise, I recycle my cardboard. I hope you have a great day!
Thanks for posting this vid, and the polite way you handled this comment. As a newbie with lots of hedges and a need to get rid of them I'm now wondering what cardboard helps to achieve? Assuming it suppresses grass, acting like a weed proof membrane, so you don't have to pull it all up first before spreading mulch in top? Sorry to ask you cardboard questions when you don't actually use it! 😂

(Linda). Hi! I just found your YT channel and after viewing your videos, omg it is really helpful!! I NEED help. OK, here goes, I am alone and manage my own repairs and whatnot. I have my own studio/workshop at home as a seamstress. Since I have to hang a chain or some kind of cable from on wall to the other from the ceiling; i think it would be best to set a 2X4 first and then screw most of what i need, like my gravity iron (has a 1 gallon water tank), my chain (to hand dresses from so I can do the hem at my height and also when ironing them. How would i go about setting this 2x4. the Ceiling is made of drywall. thank you!
Hey Linda! Thanks for your comment! If you need to anchor another board on your wall or ceiling to hold anything, you have to make sure that board is properly anchored in at least 2 studs (in the wall) or joists (in the ceiling). That is the only way this board will provide the holding strength that you need. I hope this helps!
i found that if you don’t care about the screw you can carefully drill through it and it pops into 2 pieces, and then you can use pliers to back the broken end out, if holding 2 things together
Thanks for sharing this! I'm planning another video for this topic that will test a specific pair of pliers to see if they work.
Very helpful, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! I'm so happy this helped!
Didn't work
I’m so sorry to hear that
i did it clockwirse and maade it worse
@@KDrop84 Oh No!!!
Good demo 👍 Thanks Though I have been unsuccessful with the rubberband technique, I got to try with the screw extractor. My guess is that since it has the reverse threads, rotating counter clockwise ( loosening direction) will make the extractor thread to actually dig in the stripped head for more grip. Dealing with small screws with phillips head which are stripped.
@@vintubeable You are correct. 👍🏼👍🏼
So for a 8ft post I need a 12 ft pole? Seems a bit much underground no? Maybe I’ll use T posts instead?
That’s a big post, but you would need at least a good 3 feet underground for that, IMHO. Driving in an 8 ft T post is a pain to do, but that could work, depending on what it’s for.
If this is just for a basic fence or similar application and a lot of side pressure won't be exerted on the posts, I think you're fine with a 10 ft post. I've had two 10 ft posts in the ground only 1.5 ft deep for the last 12 years and they're doing fine. The posts are two of the anchor points for a shade sail, which I have quite a bit of tension on. They're cedar posts though, which are more durable. But cedar is way too expensive lately. I'd use pressure treated pine or fir and maybe add a few coats of paint, roofing cement, or something to the 2 ft that makes ground contact - not necessary, but might add a few years of life.

Wow, thank you! I appreciate your kind words.
How many of the tough system items can you stack together?
I haven’t seen a prescribed limit, but if you go too high it will be hard to get anything out. I do not go higher than 4 units (large tool chest, medium tool chest, drawers, and small toolbox). 👍🏼

Will these things keep ground digging insects from digging in lawns?
I don’t think they will prevent that
In my experience the dividers that come with the packouts are very weak and flimsy. I believe dewalt was smart to do without dividers. I use 3 sets of the dewalt 3 drawer systems for all my handtools and they work great. I did like how the packouts have dividers so i can divide my handtools in each drawer but they just dont hold up, especially when loading in the back of my truck and moving them from truck to jobsite and such. My handtools destroyed the dividers within a month of heavy use. The packout drawers also sag a lot and drag where i have had no issues so far with dewalt drawers. I sold my packouts on facebook and bought dewalt.
This is really good perspective to share. Thank you so much for taking the time to do so! 👍🏼👍🏼
Nice one
Thanks!
