This was the closest many of us got to seeing this mark of Giuffria perform live. Did they ever get a chance to tour for this album? BTW, excellent take on Wink DeVille's I Must Be Dreaming. The video for that song is equally good. I know this was the standard and this was so typical for that time period but I still found it so tacky that performers were told to ( except for the drummer ) airplay and lip sync. And maybe with the exception of the bassist, who played live but doubled his tracks. Oh well, blame it on the rain, I guess?

This was taped from PBS in the early 1980s. wow did i miss out evven in 1984 1985 John Jaymes Off-duty New York City detectives acquired by the mysterious John Jaymes-God knows what his real name was-they were professionals who, as their eyes revealed, didn’t like being there at all. (Jaymes is the large, muttonchopped young man you see in Mel Belli’s office. He turned out to be quite a study, having told the Stones he worked for Dodge and Dodge he worked for the Stones. Dodge provided more cars than the Stones needed and, in the end, got nothing out of it, not even advertising, because of Altamont.) STANEY BOOTH

The most important bit is the clip from 12:27 of the movie "Sarge Goes To College" with Les, Wingy Mannone, Coco Candido, Joe Venuti, Jess Stacey and Abe Lyman. (and of course it's cut....)

Things were more fun then, except for AIDS. Everyone had big hair, everybody went dancing (almost every night). Everybody drank rums and cokes, and cover was only 3 bucks. And these guys had the best video at the time.
