    The 68 -70 AMX was a big part of my life and for anyone who hasn't had a chance to drive or ride in the short wheelbase 2 seater AMX .you don't know what you don't know. These cars are a blast to drive. Imagine a all carbon 70 AMX with a Roadster shop chassis integrated into the AMC unibody. Billet trim work,3D printed parts,etc.. The choices are endless, we just have to build them.

    Mickey Thompson’s 69 Mustang looks like a real car, door handles, tail lights, chrome trim, I love it! The bodies very quickly began to morph, stretched wheel base and huge rear wheel openings, but at least you could still figure out what they were supposed to be. The last time I saw Funny Cars, they’d turned into something completely different, but they’re still running the Chrysler based Hemi.

  • @daleshotrodshop

    The 224 is used for a turn-signal flashers with 2 bulbs 1 in front one in rear. The 552 is for the emergency flashers to flash all four bulbs. The 224 can be replaced with the 552 especially for when pulling a trailer with lights.

    Seller covered scam drop shipping by providing ebay with the letter tracking to prevent higher fees. Ebay charges sellers more in fees if they don't provide and ship within one business day after being paid. Seller is a scammer and got caught. Hilarious.

  • @aday1637
    @aday16373 ай бұрын

    Drop shipping is against ebay policy without making it known prior to the sale that this is what ebay calls a "Presale" item. Look it up. It's in their rules. Many break the rule and sometimes get caught short like in this situationl. And ebay requires sellers to provide tracking for any item you sell and they gig you financially if you don't ship within one business day. Use of phony tracking is a way around that for dishonest sellers who drop ship without mentioning it in their ad. No, this buyer got scammed and ebay agrees. The people at ebay have seen all the scams and have policies in place to protect buyers. That's what happened here. The seller was scamming ebay and the buyer by drop shipping and tried to cover it with the card mailing tracking and got caught big time. His seller fees will increase with this incident. He'lll pay over and over. And it's his responsibility to pay the buyer for return shipping. Those are the rules. Sellers beware, this can happen to you too.

    He had no intention of sending the jack the deal with the thank you card with the tracking number for was the jack. EBay agrees with me that he was indeed a scammer. He didn't send a jack until a week after I reported to eBay. He was not expecting eBay to end his scam short and refund me the money so quickly. I'm not positice he was trying to scam you. He "drop ships", and probably always sends a thank you card as well; I've had other broken English sellers send me long thank you notes asking for positive feedback, hope you are in well standing, I wish you good life, etc etc. Because he drop ships, the jack was delayed, he then sent you another jack, but the warehouse had already shipped the first one, albeit late. I think the guy just doesn't keep up with his paperwork and he made a mess of this. People don't make allot on Ebay, especially with new items that people can shop around for. So, it's gonna take him a long time to recoup all those loses but it's ultimately his own fault...

    He had no intention of shipping a jack. The first jack that arrived was ordered after I filed the scam with eBay and showed up a week after I got my refund which is what I used to buy the same jack from Amazon.. The second jack showed 5 days after that. EBay instantly saw the scam with the tracking number of the thank you card and the post that the jack had been delivered. EBay had no wait period they refunded the money within two days. The scammer never made any attempt to have jacks shipped back except to tell me to just ship them back. I held onto them boxed and ready to ship for 3 months he ended the communication with he was sending labels which never happened. I sent one more email but he never responded.

    The guy is a drop shipper which is risky . They don't have the item in stock and if somebody orders the item from them , they quickly purchase one from Amazon and send it to your address . Returns are especially difficult for people who do this . I had this happen to me as well with a different item , the seller sent me one that was different than what was in the ebay auction and it arrived in an Amazon package . I told him that it was different and less desirable and he complained a lot then he emailed me a QR code and told me to print out that return label and ship it back . Problem was that the QR code wasn't from ebay , it was from Amazon to go back to their return center in Vegas . I told the guy that I can't can't return it to Amazon for you , by ebay's rules I can only send it back to whatever address you have listed in your account or I lose my buyer's protection and you can just say that I never returned it to you get refunded by Amazon and then keep my money too .

  • @bryanobrien2726
    @bryanobrien27263 ай бұрын

    The card that you received with tracking on it was definitely sketchy though , I think that would be against ebays policies at the very least . Most dropshippers will give you their Amazon tracking number so that it is actually tracking the product .

  • @dc6233
    @dc62333 ай бұрын

    Good thing you knew the rules or he'd have said "I didn't get the item back, do you have tracking??". Drop shipping can be a disaster, the seller involved in this video isn't good with paperwork and sent another one after the first one was on the way. His loss, but I'm not convinced he was actually trying to scam this guy; he lost allot of money on this.

  • @bryanobrien2726
    @bryanobrien27263 ай бұрын

    @@dc6233 I agree , I don't think the seller was trying to scam him either . The mistake he made was putting tracking on something other than the actual jack , that would've put me on edge for sure . Mainly because as soon as the tracking says the item has been delivered , the clock starts ticking . You have like thirty days to resolve any problems from that time so if it shows up a week after it says that it was delivered , you're down to only three weeks right off the bat .

  • @daleshotrodshop

    I had a couple of those and an XL75, XR75 and an XR80. That was before i discovered the wicked wrath of a CR125R! I bought it a few years after i left school. I left in 92, and that was the year bike i had then. But i didnt get it until i was 20. My folks would of had a sh*t fit if I'd of bought it before then lol. But yeah tve SL70's were fun little bikes! A lot of us in my neighborhood had those little bikes. Even the adults had them because they were that much fun to ride. Hard to find these days and had to get parts for if you do come across any. A bike i just sold last year i was trying to restore. It was a '78 Yamaha XT500 but a 4 stroke. I'd of kept it if it was a 2 stroke. But finding parts for it was crazy!! I had to order from over seas which cost 10 times more and took a whole month or 2 before receiving your parts. I bought it for $500, took it all apart and only finished the frame portion. And bought some parts in between the process. I had $4000 invested. Didnt have a title because that was also another issue. So i sold it. The guy that bought it ripped me a new ass. He said he wanted all the original XT parts. I had new chrome coil over shocks and a new chrome swing arm that didn't go with the bike. I have $1200 invested in just those 2 items. That asshole gave me only $300. So i took a big loss on that bike. But its gone, im happy and i have plenty of bikes to ride as it is, but too many projects all at once i have lol. If you got em keep em. They are worth tons if you have a title. If not you won't get hardly anything for them

Im building both for adult usage. A Jr dragster mini bike and im taking a John Deere riding mower and gonna transform it into a Jr dragster alter racer. So yeah its expensive!! But if you look at the bleachers now, all they are there for is to collect dust and get weathered on. Everyone seemed to of gotten out of racing and watching anymore.
