  I haven't seen anyone caught bluegills anywhere else beside Lake Sammamish. If fishing from the shore, probably your best shot at the Sammamish Landing Park, by the dock. Some people recommended the left area of the boat launch near Sammamish Landing Park but I have never tried fishing there before.

  It's a different type of species. The squid in our area aren't as big as the one in Australia.

  Decades ago when our waters were more plentiful, a family took me squid fishing on the pier in Monterey, California. They shone a light on the water just like you are doing. The water would turn light gray from all the squid. We had a long line of large shiny silver hooks and would jiggle up and down and catch several of them each time. Ink would squirt all over. It was so much fun. Thank you so much for this video. That was one of my all time best fishing memories. I have not fished in many years. Maybe I’ll come up and try next year. Thank you for sharing information with people too. I watch lots of fishing videos but they keep their location top secret even when they are out in the ocean.

  Rules in the Oregon might be different but you will need shellfish license to fish for squid. We are allow to keep 10 lbs per day in Washington.

  I haven't actually been there but I know some people take the ferry there from downtown. They said it's easier to catch over there.

  Try suquamish. Floating part of dock is best if it's open. If not you can fish up to the floating dock. Kingston as well fishing dock next to ferry dock

  Yes, there are lots of stocked trout. People seem to catch more with the spoons at this lake instead power bait.
